Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Will Nationals ever be in Columbus Ohio again?

I'm sure the PUSA has a great time planned for everyone who doesn't make top cut and chooses to stick around. Specifically, everyone who car pooled with someone who made top cut is guaranteed to stick around. They know this, they get this.

PUSA is being given a chance to really impress everyone, and I'm trying to look forward to when they do it.

think about it: they don't have to worry about event ticketing issues, 'scary' other gamers or other 'family-unfriendly' (not that it was an issue in my own personal opinion, but i know others had the opposite view) concurrent events like the pride parade, and participants having to purchase a badge in order to play.

I know you don't have any problems with other games but sometimes I think some parents just plain out hate anyone between the ages of 13-19 :/ JIMO.

AS for Nationals ever going back it depends how THIS year goes.
Origins was a great thing for Pokémon (company wise) better. I didn't care about the $50 fee :/ if you have money to fly to Ohio you can pay $50. :/. I really hope it goes back there sometime in the future.

One vendor I believe sold out of there DP5 (Japanese.) cards at US nationals, they made money that weekend, and were probably happy.
SURE Japanese cards may not go directly go to the US pokémon profit market but does benifit the Pokémon Company (JP) right?

Interesting comment regarding the pride parade (Doo Dah Parade). Was that viewed as an issue by some?

When PUI made plans for St. Louis, did they specifically schedule it on a weekend when there were no other "concurrent events"?

I just hope that Nationals is on a different weekend than Origins next year.

I don't like having to choose between them.

Well, this year is the second straight year that Worlds has "conveniently" been on the same weekend of GenCon. Couple that with Nats "conveniently" being the same weekend as Origins?

Looks WAY more intentional than coincedental IMO.

Unless PUI changes Nats away from the last weekend in June, there will be Pride events no matter what city it is held in. The last Sunday in June has typically been celebrated with *** Pride events for at least 30 years.

Unfortunatly no. It can't go back because it moved because they needed more room in the first place. And does anyone know the date of Nats??? Im trying to get my hotel room booked early.

"Conveniently" the same weekend as Origins: June 25-28
