As usual, there will be three age divisions: 10-, 11-14, and 15+. The pool of players will be drawn from the top players in the Pokémon TCG Gym Challenge Series, Pokémon TCG Regional Championship Series, Pokémon TCG Stadium Challenges, and the Pokémon TCG National Championships; as well as the top four finishers from each age bracket at the 2004 World Championships. Players will also have a last shot at the World Championship if they head down to the event on August 19 for the “Last Chance Qualifier” on the first day of competition.
Note that the "Regional Championship Series" is a new entry to Pokemon OP, so we'll get news up on that as soon as it's available!
There will also be plenty of side events and features, just like last year.
