Ok,With worlds around the corner and alot of our leauge members going either by trip or by paying thir way there i organized this so everyone can have a preperation for the biggest tournament in pokemon.
Time: 6:30 pm start
Registartion starts at 5:30 pm
Admission: $5
Everone who enters gets a pack nomatter what.
Since we dont really have enough to run age modified we mix it up
Prizes: Im tyiny to get some nice prizes for this but for now here is what i got:
1st: the new quest island leauge poster featuring mewtwo
50% of all the packs we have after we start
4 series 1 pop packs
2nd:
50% of the packs we have
a POP poster to be seen that night
4 series 1 pop packs
Since we like to show sportmentship i will give a prize for the player who has the lowest record of the night:
2 pop packs and a badge i will have for them that night
It will be run modified swiss with 4 rounds. Since this is prep for worlds the rules will be enforced like your in worlds.
There is a side event whcih is unique in itself:
I have laid down a challenge for anyone who wants it. I play zap-turn-dos and so far the deck is 13-1 so i give you the EX Challenge:
I have 2 random ex's and i will give one away for the first person who can beat my zappy deck in a 2 out of 3 battle.
One ex is from R/S to hidden legends and one is from hidden legends to emerald
I will have the challenge from the start of the tourney to the end of the tourney
I hope to see a big tournout for this last tourney before worlds. Our record for tourneys is 14 so lets see if we can break it. See ya all thrusday :thumb:
Due to recent info i found out,i can no longer run leuage and tourneys together so this will have no points for leauge and the leuage kit will be put away.
Also for anyone who attends the albany leauge the week after there will be no leauge 8/18 due to 60% of our members including both gym leaders will be leaving for the world championships.
Leauge will resume on 8/25 when we will be all back from wolrds with stories and i might be back with promos for the palyers so stop by and play
