Zweilous

I have been playing Darkrai/Hydreigon with the standard 3-1-3 hydreigon line, but have recently seen a drop in the Zweilous. I am curious, is this a good choice? Should you max out rare candies if you take out Zweilous?

This is just from personal testing/experience. I realize it seems situational but this is often how I see it go down:

I prefer Zweilous but I also prefer 4-1-3 Hydreigon, and I play Level Ball. I like having 4 Deino because I think ending your first turn with 2 Deino on the bench is very important -- especially if you go second -- and playing 4 maximizes these chances. I've found that if both Deino survive I often evolve one into Zweilous (easy to do if you play Level Ball, I often play it T1 and Junk Hunt it), and that helps if you whiff the Candy Hydreigon or if you need to set up another Hydreigon.

It might seem weird, but I don't like level ball. I would only play 1 IF I played it at all, which I don't. I play 3 ultra ball and that's it, but my supporters keep me drawing into pokemon, so that is usually not a problem. I sometimes do have opportunities where I wish I would have multiple deinos though.

It's not that uncommon not to play it. I play 3 Ultra 1 Level.

I played 4-0-3 for awhile and I could often get the Candy + Hydreigon but there were just times when building a second Hydreigon that I wish I had a Zweilous.
