My cousin is a begginer at pokemon and could use some ideas on how to make his deck better.

His strategy is to try to get Typhlosion out so he can use fire recharge to power up his Ho-Oh's.

The strategy is good, but your cuz must learn to make it work faster. Try taking out the plus power's and play breeder instead. Take out two NGR with Typhlosion's power, having fire energy's in your discard pile can help you. My final suggestion is to take out ecogym and narrowym, If you want to play a gym try sprout tower.
