Hello all. I am deciding on the changes to my favorite deck for the Comic Con. Dark Feraligatr would feel betrayed if I don't use him.
Pokemon: [4] Totodile (Neo Genesis lv20) [3] Dark Croconaw [3] Dark Feraligatr [2] Cleffa [1] Tyrogue (Genesis) [1] Elekid (Genesis) [1] Suicune (Revelation, Non-holo) [1] Raikou (Revelation, Non-holo) [2] Murkrow (Genesis)
Trainers: [4] Elm [4] Double Gust [4] Gold Berry [3] Trader [3] Copy Cat [2] Rocket's Hideout [2] Focus Band [1] Town Volunteers [1] Switch [1] Oak's Research [2] Fan Club
Energy: [11] Water [4] Dark
The strategy to the deck is to use its great speed and get Dark Feraligatr out third turn. He turns off all my opponents babies, which he/she will need to help him/her get out his/her pokemon. The Murkrow is if I need to get anyone, especially babies, on the bench, or I can't use Dark Feraligatr. The Darkness in the deck also can allow Dark Feraligatr to increase his attack, and still have that great discard energy effect for a heads. Good bye stone blocks like non-holo suicune, raikou, and entei. [ June 24, 2003, 11:25 PM: Message edited by: Darksight530 ]

I tried this version of the Dark G8r deck, and it did decent. Not great, but decent. I then looked over my cards to try and make the deck better, and found Noctowl, which is basically a Slowking replacement. Try using Noctowl in the deck, although I don't know what to take out for it, most likely the Raikou...

It looks okay, but Pure dark gatr just doesnt work anymore, it cant handle Scizor/Feralisect, and definitley not crobat/noc so you might wanna try this
Pokemon 2 Cleffa 2 Suicune Non Holo (raikou is worthless its just rogue bait) 1 Tyrogue 3 Totodile (swipes) 3 Dark Croconaw 3 Dark Feraligatr 3 HootHoot 3 Noctowl(neo) Energy 12 Water Trainers 4 Professor Elm 4 Double Gust 4 Pokemon Trader 3 Desert Shaman 3 Copycat 3 Focus Band 2 Gold Berry 2 Pokemon Fan Club 1 Rockets Hideout 1 Town Volunteers 1 The Boss way
That should work a lot better. Desert shaman is in there for obvious reasons. Like a third turn gatr, then desert shaman, then Noc and perventing EEEEEK, good flips mean your opponent is in trouble. Good Luck TheAnswer3

I play dark g8r to and you should keep the dark energy, and try throwing in some power charge. I suggest you take out elekid because he is no use to you. Once dark g8r is out your fun begins. Replace elekid with breeders.Take your two legendary dogs out and put in another murkrow and tyogue.
Well those are my thoughts Good Luck with your deck.
