Same as the other Charizard decks I posted, you say? No way Jose!! I added one extra card here and took out one there.... [Embarrassed] [Big Grin] So I'm stuck on the same old same old. Hehehe... OK, alot of these trainers (and some Pkmn)I just tossed in to make 60 cards, and I didn't take the time to think about the ones I put in, so....

20 PKMN
1 Charmander E
3 Charmander B2
3 Charmeleon B2
2 Charizard B2
1 Charizard E
3 Horsea NG
2 Seadra NG
1 Kingdra NG
1 Cleffa Promo
1 Cleffa NG
1 Tyrogue ND
1 Surfing Pikachu

19 Trainers
4 Bill
2 Bill's Maintenance
3 Energy Retrieval
2 Copycat
1 Mary
2 Elm
1 Master Ball
1 Energy Search
1 Energy Ark
1 Sprout Tower
1 Pkmn Trader

21 Energy
2 Rainbow
9 Water
10 Fire

I basically build up to Charizard, using Seadra and Kingdra as backup and/or 'stallers'. Cleffa for card drawing (though recently I found Cleffa to be more of a nuisance than a help...should I remove 'em? [Confused] ), Tyrogue and S. Pika for....uhm, the moment (or opposing type) at hand. I generally just go with the flow...card drawing, playing off Charizard's Power, Kingdra's dependability....w/e suits me. [Razz] Also, new 'deck name' suggestions WOULD be appreciated...but not necessary. [Wink] Thanks big lots!

Two Stage 2's of different types? By the time you get set up, the game will already be over! Drop the Kingdra line and the Suring Pikachu for 2-4 support Basics/Babies (make sure they can use Fire Energy), including Elekid (anti-Water), and some Trainers, including Oracle (since you're already using "draw two" Trainers). Then, change the Water and Rainbow Energies to about 6-8 more Fire Energies, and the rest to more Trainers -- Focus Bands, Gold Berries, etc. This deck could use Energy Stadium, since your Charizard line discards a lot of Energies. Singles of Trainers is rarely a good idea (except maybe for Supporters), so add in 1-2 more Mary (if they work out well), change the Sprout Tower to Energy Stadium (I mentioned why earlier, and a single of a Gym can be okay) and drop the others completely (you probably won't need them anyway). You have plenty of card drawing, but you need to make sure your Trainers can help you in other ways, too. Something like Town Volunteers to get back discarded Pokemon/Energy; Breeder, to support your Charizard line; and Pokemon Fan Club and/or Professor Elm's Training Method to pull out Pokemon you want, to name a few possibilities.

Every time I think I can't say anything stupider, I prove myself wrong. Maybe I should just stop thinking.

I personally think expedition charmeleon is a bit better than the base set one. It's a bit faster because it can attack with 2 energy, but base set charmeleon can do a stable slash attack. Try using a combination of both.

Which E charizard are you using? I hope you're using the 100hp flamethrower one because it's faster and doing 60 damage is pretty good enough.

Take dkates' suggestions, and maybe throw out some fire energy for some recycle energy. BS charizard can benefit from using recycle energy.
