Will this one sink, or will Mantine save the day?

What's the strategy?

Wow! You can't see it, huh?
It's Scizor all the way. Use the Babies to stall and Bring out Scizor to do mass damage. Mantine supports as a TecH against Fire.
Believe it or not, it's that straight forward - no hidden misteries.

I knew that might be questionable. I would always use Gold Berry and may change it. Basically it's for the damage taken from the Rainbow Energy.

That is correct.
So... does anyone have suggestions on this deck? Is it even worth using? Thanks.

Simple and solid: -4 Berry +3 Gold Berry (just nicer) +1 Focus Band (fire decks) -1 Town Volunteers +1 Power Charge (get discarded special nrg back..)
Very easy to play, should be good fun!

It's a fairly recent ruling so don't be... just keep up with the compendium and chat and you too will be a "rule lawyer" (to use PokePops phrase)...

Okay we'll stick with Mantine although I think Wooper may be more flexible...

4x Scyther ( any ) 3x Scizor ( A ) 3x Mantine ( NY ) 2x Tyrogue ( NG ) 1x Pichu ( NG ) 3x Cleffa ( NG )
Use the Aqua Scythers (uncommon) - colourless attack, like the original had with Slash. Cut a Mantine. Cut a Cleffa. Add two Promo Mew (Lily Pad) for Fire - its attack can be activated with Rainbow Energy and will be more useful to you in that circumstance than the Scizors while you power the Mantines up.

The better choice like s_B said. I like your other Trainer mix. Trader works well in this deck.
