I know this is for decks, but i havent played for a while and i need to know the sets you can use in the pokemon league and tournaments(besides unlimited).If i know them i can make a deck.

Currently the sets in the format called Modified are
Neo Genesis
Neo Discovery
Neo Revelation
Neo Destiny
Southern Islands
Legendary Collection
Expedition
Aquapolis
Skyridge
Promos 21 and higher
all Best Promo (Electabuzz, Hitmonchan etc.)
Neo Genesis Sneasel & Slowking are banned as well as Birthday Pikachu (promo #24 I think)
Also any other cards reprinted in one of the above. (example : a base set Electabuzz because it came back as a promo)
For a complete guide to Modified, go to tournaments & Organized Play in the pokegym & go to the first topic which should say something like: Guide to Modified.
It's by Prof. Douglas Zuver.
This was wizards modified. Once Nintendo starts some tournaments they will most likely change the modified format to:
Expedition
Aquapolis
Skyridge
Ex: Ruby & Sapphire
any future sets like Sandstorm
The few Nintendo promos.
This is only what people are predicting. Some people are also predicting they will keep Legendary Collection & no one is quite sure how they will handle the Wotc promos. We'll just have to wait & see.
