I really like the new Kingdra from Aqua, and I now have four of them. So I started to work on a new deck around this card.

Title: Kingdra back and forth
Class: Modified
Pokemon: 21
4 Horsea (Aquapolis (Bubble Attack))
2 Seadra (Neo Genesis)
4 Kingdra (Aquapolis)
4 Onix (Southern Islands)
3 Steelix (Aquapolis)
2 Elekid (Neo Genesis)
2 Cleffa (Neo Genesis)
Trainers: 22
4 Professor Elm (Neo Genesis, Best)
4 Professor Oak's Research (Neo Genesis)
3 Pokemon Breeder (Legendary)
3 Pokemon Trader (Legendary)
4 Pokemon Nurse (Expedition)
4 Switch (Expedition)
Energy: 17
4 Warp Energy (Aquapolis)
4 Metal Energy (Neo Genesis, Expedition, Aquapolis)
9 Water Energy

I like this deck for its ability to move energy loosely. So with 8 cards that act like a free retreat, I can fight a very long time with the same energy. For a secondary offensive/defensive, I am going to try Steelix from Aquapolis for a while. Other than that I threw in the standard assortment of trainers. I think there are better ideas for this deck however, I fry my brain before I have to go to work.

Looks pretty good, but I would trim the Steelix line by 1 Onix and 1 Steelix to put in a couple more Trainers. Just my 2 cents.

Instead of:

- 1 Steelix
- 1 Onix

I would:

- 1 Kingdra
- 2 Elekid
+ 1 Cleffa

I would add in some gold berry and focus bands but the deck is so full as it is, so with the two cards left, I would put in two gold berry. Nurse isn't always going to help you.

Nice thoughts guys, I guess it comes down to choice of the matter. You know I also hope this will be a deck that can easily evolve into a deck for the upcoming Modfied Format.

For right now I might fall for dtakes idea... I doubt that 3 steelix is truly needed.

the one thing that irks me in this deck, and many like it is the breeders......... the odds of having a breeder and a kingra at the same time isn't as good as pulling a seadra, and having time to evolve to kingdra........ besides, kingdra can't really attack turn two anyways............

-3 breeder
-1 onix
-1 steelix
-1 research
-1 switch (4 is kinda overkill)
+1 cleffa
+1 volunteers
+2 seadra
+3 gold berry (keep steelix up, w/o losing metals)

just a thought

I've found Pokémon Fan Club to be particularly useful when running multiple evolution lines. You already got Research and and Nurse in there, so alot of suppoerters would kinda narrow the deck. I'd prolly change two nurses to centers, narrow the onix/steelix line to 3-2, maybe even 2-2 for the Fan Club. You may even wan't to trim the Oak's Research since you're usually going to want to use Oak's Research/Fan Club early game, and Nurse somewhere later in the game...

That's my 2 cents...

Bands that kick arse! Adema, Hoobastank, Linkin Park, Staind, Mudvayne, Slipknot, Taproot, Dry Cell, Korn, Sevendust... and some more I'm too lazy to think of...
