Need a strategy, Dad. I'm working on a deck using the Bat/Owl combo and would like to hear what you're planning to do with this.

It flies so silently through the dark on its four wings that it may not be noticed even when nearby./Although the wings it evolved on its feet allow it to fly at high speeds, they unfortunately make it difficult to perch.

Check the earlier posting in the archives of Noccromancer...Spectreon, Meganium, me, et. al. just about talked this one to death. It has some pretty good discussion of strategy, metagame, and actual game experience regarding the crobat/noctowl deal.

Yeah I saw that post. That is what I based my un original knock off on. Great concept but in my testing I loose to scizor consistantly. I tried murkrow in this deck and frankly I enjoy mean looking with noctowl, but most good decks have tech to get out of it and crow just is not enough. I am thinking I may drop the owl all together and play leadian/crobat with a couple rare dogs to protect the bench. One last thing, seems like I forget to roll alot. Am I the only one?

Nope, infact not roling cost me a couple of important matches in tournements. Havent seen much of Scizor, but nobody plays him that much around here. Anyways, Ledian could do well here, and with not needing 2 Murk and 3-4 Dark, yeah, might be able to pull off. Dont lose the Desert Shaman, something that can help you/hurt your opponent can be cruel.

Thanks for the mention Dendrobatida, .......still need to work in those Focus......... more later.

To evolve, treat Eevee poorly, when it hates your guts, let it get ko'ed in th night while holding Spell Tag. PS, if it gets ko'ed outin the day, then it will die, go visit its grave in Soul House of Lavender, next to Fuji
