This topic, is to discuss the different trainer engines that we will have to use, if the format does rotate to e-card only, my guess is that copycat will obviously stay, but juggler may see a rise in play, combined with more fisherman, oracle will rise as it should've had since it was released, pokemon fan club will stay, and fast ball will appear in many decks, the following deck is a first attempt, to get a reasonable speed in a deck:

Pokemon: 19

4 Horsea (AQ)
3 Seadra (AQ)
3 Kingdra (AQ)
3 Wailmer (EX)
3 Wailord (EX)
1 Kyogre EX (Promo)
2 Cleffa (SR)

Trainers: 24

4 Copycat
3 Juggler
4 Center
4 Pokemon Reversal
1 Pokemon Fan Club
2 Switch
1 Town Volunteers
3 Oracle
2 Fisherman

Energy: 17

3 Warp
14 Water Energy

I'm not expecting fixes, other than in the trainer section (Center is situational, due to the deck I wrote), but center and moo moo milk (yes everybody carringtons fixes will be more helpful now), will see a raise in play also, post your thoughts, on the future of the trainers (not us, the cards [ROFL] ) ok bad joke, post your opinions...

There are 14 Supporters in your deck. That means, at best, it will take 14 turns to play them all.

To follow that up, what is the RIGHT amount of Supporters? Clearly, 24 Supporters would be crazy. 14 doesn't seem so bad, but I'm wondering if 10 or 12 wouldn't be a more viable number.

Can you would throw in Elms (it's released as a promo, right?)?

ok you didn't get the point of this topic, it is to discuss the future trainer engines to be used in decks, if the format does change to only e-card, and the promos issue are an uncertain thing, that is why i didn't include elm, if i knew the were allowed, elm would certainly be there, and i know 14 supporters is too many, but I couldn't find a way to go through the deck faster. Please people, post with useful advice, incase format does change.

Dark and vile seems to have got exactly the right idea to me, Mudkip. Supporter numbers are an important issue for an e-card only format, as if the Neo block is removed there will be relatively fewer worthwhile non-Supporter Trainers left.

It will be very hard to find a balance between power and actually being able to use the damn things. We may even see a reduction in the number of trainers present in decks.

Well, it could happen... [Roll Eyes]
