Heavens to murgitroy!!! At SBZ this weekend, I started to think of another deck idea to help get rid of the Special Energy and just energy in general...and I came up with this concept...as far as I know, this hasn't been comboed quite like this. So here it is:
Energy, Stage Left!
P 20
4 Horsea (Aq Reverse Thrust)
4 Seadra (2 Aq, 2 Gen)
3 Kingdra (Rev)
3 Grimer (Aq)
3 Muk (1 Aq, 2 LC)
3 Tyrogue
T 24
3 Bill
3 Elm
3 Bill’s Maintenance
2 Poke Fan Club
4 SER 2
3 ER 2
3 Switch
3 Poke Center (Nurse would be better, but dont have them)
E 16
4 Recycle
6 Grass
6 Water
After seeing it, most players will say it is another Muk/ King combo...but in reality, it is so much more than that. Unfortunately the coin flip is unpopular, but I have found a deck that can actually use Energy Removal 2 and Super Energy Removal 2 effectively.
I am also a new believer in the Pokemon Fan Club card....this card helped me get to 4th place in my first "Major Tourny". some say fourth...o_O..who cares...tell those that I used this card against to get there who cares....it works for getting those Basics/ Babies out for Quick setup. and in this game of speed and stall extremes, you need it.
Obviously Genetic Memory is the key to pulling this off. Use ER2 or SER2 and return your Recycle to your hand, then Center (Nurse), then reattach and attack. Simple fun strategy, and effective I think. It hasn't been playtested.
If this is someone else's idea that they considered, cool. I just thought of it this weekend after seeing all the Steelix and Big Fire decks. Nothing like a Naked Steelix active .

Wow. I see absolutely nothing wrong with that deck. You should make a little room for pichu and Oak's Research, but that's it! Gj, cuz technically, you tied for 3rd ![[Smile]](smile.gif)
