i finally found a feasable way to us the expedition gator. i have tried to play it many different ways. i never could seem to get consistant damage on my opponents pokemon. well after some studying i came up with Aquapolis steelix. i think this will work.?
2 cleffa
2 rouge
3 S.I. onix
3 steelix (aqua)
3 totodile (neo)
3 croconaw (2 E, 1 neo)
3 gator (exp)
4 elm
2 copycat
2 oaks research
4 double gust
3 goldberry
4 trader
1 town volenteers
2 energy stadium
1 broken ground gym
7 water
3 recycle
4 metal
3 warp
this deck is very simple. get a steelix doing earth rift by 3rd turn while building a gator on the bench. gators power allows me to keep him out of the active spot while he is powering up. please help point out some weaknesses so i can fix.

So far, so good. but i do have some things i have to mention:
1. What's with the SI in onix's name?
2. im kinda uneasy about the Broken ground gym. i suggest taking that out and adding in another Oak's reasearch or Copycat

i like using this gym. it helps me generate an energy from a baby (recycle) and somewhat metagames my opponents use of double gust.
