Plain and simple. This deck works. Combining a POWERFUL Dugtrio attack with Gengar's Power, then Mew's Power, makes this tough to stop. In case of Pichu, hold on the Mew, and Let Dugtrio do it's job. I did not use the Expedition Gengar because the Fossil Gengar's power always works. The attack is not as good, but almost.

On to the deck:
Pokemon (22)
4 Diglet (Exp)
3 Dugtrio (Exp)
3 Mew (Promo - New)
4 Gastly (Fossil)
2 Haunter (Expedition)
3 Gengar (Fossil)
3 Cleffa (NG)
Trainers (24)
4 Elm
2 Oak's Research
3 Strength Charm
3 Switch
2 Bill
3 Gold Berry
2 scoop up
2 Potion
2 Double Gust
Energy (15)
5 Fighting
10 Psychic

This deck has had a lot of success, against Magcargo (mew protection), Kingdra (mew protection), and most others. Even Slowking doesn't hurt this bad boy, in that it uses trainers for support, but does not depend on them.

The two cards that hurt this deck the worst are (1) Promo Scyther
(2) Mantine from Destiny

Scyther tears diglet apart and IHKOs mew, Mantine OHKOs mew.

Other than than, pretty powerful.

I would be interested to hear comments.

All at Dragon King in St.charles, St. Peters, the place to play!

Thanks

Deck update.

I played this deck last night, and had major trouble with a Gengar/Murkrow deck. hard to play when all of your weaknesses are covered.

Also struggled against a mono-grass deck that used his promo scythers masterfully.

Overall, the deck went 7-3, which is pretty good, but it will need tweaking.

Will update with changes, I like to see decks evolve, and will let you all see my changes as this one does.

Thanks!

Fellow DK kindred! w0rd up?

The deck is looking good. The only thing that I am wondering about is the 4/2/3 line. Is that an error or am I missing something? Other than that little thing, I'd try:

-2 Potion
-2 Bill
+2 Focus Band
+2 Bill's Research/Poketrader

I like Focus band better because you don't have to hold it in your hand, and it's way better protection for mew and cleffa, but is also useful for your bigger guys too. Bill's research just makes more sense than bill, but I like poketrader as a "guaranteed" search tool. Trader leaves no room for bad luck, etc. The scoop ups seem a little out of place since you already have switch for lock breaking, but if they work I can't argue with ya [Smile] Keep up the good work!

Grr... I really hope I won't miss the draft because of the ACT that day [Frown]

Man, Murkrow, ACT, is that some kind of college thing??

If I wanted to read, I'd go to school!?!

This is kind of sad, I do not know which of my DK cronies you are...I have a guess though.

4-2-3 That was in the "breeder" stage of this deck's development. It does need to be changed to 4-3-3 (maybe 4-4-3 with the new Alakazam deck I've been told to expect)

Focus bands are a need, will probably drop some bill for them to sit them on Mew (who got carved by scyther)

Stay tuned for a new tweak on this deck. Will have it armed for next week. Also expect the first run of an e-poliwrath deck.

The e-draft is coming, the e-draft is coming..

Can anyone knock an 8 year old out of the champion seat? We shall see...

October 26th, Dragon King in St. Peters...Be There.

Aw man, you didn't know little ol' Matty brought home a shiny bronzer from the ecsts? [Frown] [Wink]

Well, to fit in the extra pokemon to fill out the line, I'd drop a scoop up. You may also want to drop the other scoop for a time capsule for insurance.

A poliwrath deck?? Grr... that's what I'm building. I suppose we'll have to face off to see which water toad will prevail [Razz]

Yeah, I agree that Poliwrath is playable. Have been also toying with the idea of Dugtrio/e-Machamp with all the damage that is spread around.

Will try out your fixes. And will be ready for you next week.

Let me know how the ACT goes, if it is on the 26th. You'll manage to get to one of my drafts eventually....

Yeah, I figured you were the Billi, just didn't know about the medal. Bring it sometime, my boys would get a rush out of seeing it...could make you a "legend" in Andrew's eyes like Chad...

Talk to you soon.
