Need help With My new deck HYDRO BEAM Houndoom121 Member Member # 77740 posted April 27, 2002 01:09 PM            Hydro Beam is a raindance deck that is designed to hit hard fast!! It is srtatigley balanced with enough power and enough ways to keep the power up and steadly going! I think this is one of my best decks yet!! Here it is the one the oly Hydro Beam! 23 Pokemon 1 lapras(great staller) 2 Articuno(Great staller and power house) 4 Squirtle(needed for blastoise) 1 Wartortle(used in case someone stops me from putting out trainers) 3 Blastoise(the star of Raindance used for water and sometimes power) 3 Mistys Psyduck(used to get basic pokemon and for mistys golduck) 3 Mistys golduck(Great power house great with my trainers) 3 Poliwag(okay strating attack) 1 Poliwhirl(for same reason as wartortle) 2 Poliwrath(great atacks and good for stalling) 21 Trainers 1 Misty (makes mistys golduck much beter) 4 Pokemon Breeder (needed for raindance faster) 2 Mistys tears (great with getting energey) 3 Oak (good card drawer) 2 Energey Retrival (to get back needed energey) 1 Energey flow (great if need energey and it is elswhere) 2 Itemfinder (great for getting good trainers back) 1 Energey Stadium (same reason as energey retrival) 3 Computer Search (The Get anything card!) 2 Gold berry (heals pokemon) Energey 16 Water energey thinking about taking out poliwag chain and puting in more energey but to me it looks good! It's not too good to have two stage 2 evolution lines, so your mind was telling you right. Remove the Poliwag family, as they don't show much use to the main strategy.(6 spaces open) Throw in another Articuno and 2 Lapras(3 spaces open) That about leaves the Pokemon nicely, so lets go to Trainers. Take out Gold Berry(UGH!), Misty, the single Energy Flow and Energy Stadium.(8 spaces) Excuse me young man? No Bills? Throw in another Oak(need 4 here) and 4 Bills.(3 spaces) Throw in two Ecolo Gyms(is that what they're called?), giving us 1 space. I'd use that to throw in another Item Finder. Lets see how our new deck looks like 4 Squirtle 4 Blastoise 3 Misty's Psyduck 3 Misty's Golduck 3 Articuno 3 Lapras 4 Bill 4 Oak 3 CPU Search 3 Item Finder 2 Ecolo Gym 4 Energy Removal 4 Pokemon Breeder 16 Water Energy -------------------- Gligar Rule!
