2 tyrouge
1 skarmory(NG)
1 suicune (non holo)no gust

trainers:24
4 elm
4 trader
4 gold berry
3 copycat
3 double gust
2 focus band
2 memory berry
1 town volunteers
1 fan club

Hmm...this deck is pretty similar to the list that I play right now. The most glaring problem are the two Sweep Away Crocs. Testing has proven that they do not fit the deck's theme. The idea with Gatr is simple. Get the Exp Croc rolling through with a Metal. Take Down if you have to then evolve and Rending for the KO. Sweep Away Gatr does deal 50, leaving damage still on the Poke even if it was Gold Berried, but the deck just flows a LOT better with all 4 Exp Crocs. The dual Totos is a good move since you can Fan Club the one you need. Rage Toto for Metal Pokes or Swipes Toto for Entei/Cargo or other Fire. Like I said I really don't have many fixes, but here's the current version that I won my tourney with last Sat.

Ferrelligatr
Modified Formatē

Pokemon: 19
4 Totodile (2 Swipes/2 Rage)
4 Croconaw (Expedition)
3 Feraligatr (Expedition; Reverse Holo) [bow]
2 Cleffa
2 Magby
2 Tyrogue
1 Skarmory (Genesis)
1 Elekid

Energy: 16
10 Water
4 Metal
2 Recycle

Trainers: 25
4 Professor Elm
4 Pokemon Trader
4 Double Gust
4 Gold Berry
3 Copycat
2 Pokemon Fan Club
2 Memory Berry
1 Professor Oak's Research
1 Town Volunteers

As you can see, the differences are trivial and mainly personal preference basically. If you have any questions you can IM me at either XGymbo01X or Elite Mech Gymbo. Good luck!

I love this deck! I rolled through it at the SBZ with a Jumpluff/Kingdra combination.

The only combo I can see being effective with this deck is Steelix. Your Skarmory will not protect you, and, well, one magby will not either.

An excellent card to combo with Ex Feraligatr any day is Neo Discovery Forretress. You use Gatr's power to make your opponent have to pull out something he probably won't want to, then next turn when he (probably) retreats, he'll have 10+ damage on him (more if you stockpile Forretresses on your bench). Then, of course, Gatr's Rendering Jaws attack will do the 60-70 damage (Yes, I've seen Gatr quite a few times. The strategy now is to play a Metal on him so that a first Rendering Jaws will do 30 instead of 40, thus rendering Gold Berry useless. Watch out for Focus Band, though.)

well STFD, the deck is made to be fast so by adding those then that would hurt the deck by making it slow. also thats why magby is in there beacuse 10 and no power, thus meaning gold berry wont come off anyway so i think its fine the way it is.. good idea though. [ROFL]

Matrix, you are forgetting the fact that benching that Magby ends its attack's effect, and Double Gust is quite common. In a deck where you have a lot of high-retreating pokemon, they'll be targeted by Double Gust.

it won't matter because all you need is 10 damage on one guy also this way i can ABUSE the gatr's power then double gust if i need to.(due to the fact that most of the pokemon and free retreaters) and double gust is not a problem with suicune

well if you all remember at the begining ofthe first post for this i mentioned the octillery/steelix and this crazy kid. well even after using thoery i still could not beat him. you see he uses the dirty little trick where he gets all his pokes killed but steelix the just mizes. he's won the tourney for the place i play at for three weeks is a row. now i am going to play, and play this deck till i beat him so does anyone know how to get around this.(NOTE:the rage and memory berry i used but he got heads on band both times)
