This is a deck that is slow...but can be very effective if played correctly...

GengLix
P 22
3 SI Onix
3 Aq Steelix
4 Gastly (Prolly all LC)
3 Haunter (2 LC/ 1 Ex)
4 Gengar (LC)
2 Promo Mew
2 Cleffa
1 Tyrogue

T 22
3 Bill’s Maintenance
3 Elm
3 Bill
3 Gold Berry
2 Pokemon Breeder
3 Double Gust
2 Memory Berry (gets Back Steel with LC Gastly when evolved into Gengar)
1 Town Volunteer
2 Apricorn Forest (Works better than I thought, esp. with a Bench Manipulation deck)

E 16
10 Psychic
3 Recycle
3 Steel (JIC I want to use Steelix as a heavy hitter..)

This deck use Damage Manipulation very well. and can really but a smacking on baby pokemon....Thanks for viewing..

The ultimate debate you have is whether or not to play Steelix or AQ Scizor. I personally still like Steelix, as it is resistant to Grass, which is more prevelant these days.

As a Jumpluff player, I hate Gengar's ability to remove my damage counter from Jumpluff before attacking it. That hurts one of the better Pokemon in the game right now!

Drop the Bill and Bill's Maintenance for 2 Copycat and 2 Oak's research

Then add 2 Pokemon Trader to allow you to get what you need.

See if that helps.

well, the deck seems pretty solid, but i would do is this:
1. Not to sound crazy or anything, but I suggest taking out the Onix family (-6 pokemon) and add 2 more tyrouges, 3 Elekids (incase ur not finding any energies), and another Steel energy (so u then have 4). Even though u have 4 steel energies and no steel pokemon, thats alright. Pump up the baby pokemon with the steels and gold berries incase they do get damage.
2. After playing the GBC style card game, i tried a 4/4/4 ordeal, and it works. Take out one Bill and put in another Gengar. Not only will this give you a higher chance of getting Gengars, but it also gives u a higher chance of evolving faster or at critical times since you have the right evos. at the right time.

so try this out:

4 Ghastly-LC
4 Haunter-LC
4 Gengar-LC
2 Mew-Promo
3 Tyrouge
3 Elekid
2 Cleffa-Promo/NG (it dont matter)

3 Bill’s Maintenance
2 Elm
3 Bill
3 Gold Berry
2 Pokemon Breeder
3 Double Gust
2 Memory Berry
1 Town Volunteer
2 Apricorn Forest

10 Psychic
3 Recycle
4 Steel

I would suggest using Fossil or Legendary Gastly. If you really needed to get steel energies from your discard pile, at least this Gastly can get them back into your hand. It can also paralyze and help stall if needed........ [ROFL] [ROFL] [Bounce]

Nice deck! Cant Wait to play it [Devilish] .

Might switch 1 Gengar for a EX one, for late game purposes. Dont thint the 1 EX Haunter will be too helpfull, to many people flip heads and wake up before it becomes usefull. Where were the Apricorn Forrest? After 2 battles and Over an hour of play, I never saw a one???? I think you are right to want to add Focus to deck for Haunter (LC/Fossil). 3 flips to attack/KO is evil. Thhink some Psy cubes woulda worked better than the Memory berry. I never actually saw you use Energy Conversion once, and you only recalled sleep attacks. Confusion is better!!! Oh yeah, get Unown M in there quick!!!!!! Well, there ya go.. hope to see a better version next week, maybee I will give it a tweaked rematch....

To evolve, treat Eevee poorly, when it hates your guts, let it get ko'ed in th night while holding Spell Tag. PS, if it gets ko'ed outin the day, then it will die, go visit its grave in Soul House of Lavender, next to Fuji
