Hello everyone. I'm back. Not with only one, not two, but THREE decks. One of these decks I WILL be using at my local SBZ. (York Comic and Cards so rules everything by the way...) Anyways, enough of this, time for my three decks.

First off, we have:

Ferrelligatr
Modified Formatē

Pokemon: 19
4 Totodile (2 Swipes/2 Rage)
4 Croconaw (Expedition)
3 Feraligatr (Expedition)
2 Cleffa
2 Tyrogue
2 Magby
1 Skarmory (Genesis)
1 Elekid

Energy: 16
11 Water
4 Metal
1 Boost

Trainers: 25
4 Professor Elm
4 Pokemon Trader
4 Double Gust
4 Gold Berry
3 Copycat
2 Pokemon Fan Club
2 Memory Berry
1 Professor Oak's Research
1 Town Volunteers.

Strategy: Uh. It's my infamous Solo Metal Gatr deck. You get a Metal Energy on the Croc or Gatr to hit for 30 then 60 under the Gold Berry. The Metal also adds defense to Gatr's already extensive 120 HP. Rage Toto + Memory Berry is one of the trickiest comboes ever. My newest trick is a single Boost Energy. Entei/Cargo up and owning me early? Evolve a Totodile to Croconaw (Exp) and attach the Boost to Take Down and OHKO the Magcargo just like that. Each of us then needs to restart. This deck is just so tricky and so dominating once rolling. It's great! [Big Grin]

Next up is:

Teh Real Draggy
Modified Formatē

Pokemon: 19
4 Horsea (Genesis)
4 Seadea (2 Genesis/2 Aquapolis)
3 Kingdra (Aquapolis)
2 Suicune (Aquapolis)
2 Cleffa
2 Tyrogue
2 Pichu

Energy: 16
13 Water
3 Warp

Trainers: 25
4 Professor Elm
4 Pokemon Trader
4 Double Gust
4 Energy Removal 2
3 Copycat
3 Pokemon Center
2 Gold Berry
1 Town Volunteers

Strategy: One of my newer decks. Kingdra's Pokemon Power allows for energy movement and swapping kind of like Base Venusaur. You move all the energy from a damaged Kingdra to an active Baby Pokemon then use Pokemon Center. Gold Berry is additional healing. Another aspect I focus on is Energy Denial. Kingdra's Rapids attack can possibly ER the opponent. So I figured I'd play some ER2s as well. This deck is really solid and has worked for me as well.

I couldn't post without adding one new deck. And of course I save it for last (to keep you reading of course [Wink] ) This idea comes a good buddy of mine on Pojo, Coryace Jolteon. Mad props to him for this sweet deckage!

Conundrum
Modified Formatē

Pokemon: 21
5 Fossils (3 Underground/2 Mysterious)
4 Kabuto (Discovery)
4 Kabutops (2 Discovery/2 Skyridge)
2 Skarmory (Genesis)
2 Cleffa
2 Pichu
2 Tyrogue

Energy: 14
10 Fighting
4 Metal

Trainers: 25
4 Professor Elm
4 Pokemon Trader
4 Double Gust
3 Copycat
3 Gold Berry
2 Focus Band
2 Pokemon Fan Club
1 Underground Stadium
1 Professor Oak's Research
1 Town Volunteers

Strategy: Power up either Kabutops and just own. Skyridge Tops is Fighting Type and Disc Tops is Water Type so I have a two color deck for the same energy, pretty niiiiice. Skarmory counters my insane weakness to Grass. Cleffa, Pichu, and Tyrogue are there because, well they pretty much need to be. The new Underground Fossil is a new card from Skyridge that is almost like a Baby Pokemon. It doesn't have an attack, it has 30 HP, has the "Baby Power", and a retreat cost. The Pokemon Power allows you to search for an evolution. So you pretty much evolve it to Discovery Kabuto and get another Kabuto the next turn. Skyridge Kabutop's Pokemon Power prevents Benched Pokemon from evolving and it's attack is FCC: 50x Flip two coins, each heads does 50 damage. The deck seems really cool and I'm gonna try it out once Skyridge becomes available.

Well there you go. Any thoughts or comments on any of the decks? Thanks in advance! I'd also like to give a special shout out and welcome back to ShuckleGod and Rocket's Sandshrew! It's soooo great to see you guys back on the Board again. I'll see you at York soon! [bow]

Sweet decks, for the G8atr deck I would drop the Skarmory, it's not that goood and this deck can beat (most) grass without it. I should know. In the last SBZ At table 1 I ID'd with someone wo was playing with this and just for fun we played 2 fun games, I got MIZED!! (I was playing AQ Victreebell) Once you get G8tr out It just Ownz them, Because the weakness changes you can now go head to head with grass and yah they can Double Gust but it's hard to have something grass that can do 40 by the 2nd turn.

So - 1 Skarmory
+ 1 Hey it's an open slot, in my decks those are to die for.

And for all decks where's the Phrophet? That thing is going to be abused to all get out. Yah MT Mike say's he hasn't heard of it but look at the spoilers, it will be in there all right. Untill Skyridge comes out I can't really give input on your last deck but props to all the decks, VERY well made.

I think i'll go with AQ Kingdra as my SBZ deck it's just so versile and with 120hp + Poke Center/ Nurse (Tried that Yet(Nurse I mean)) it takes alot to KO it (Change 1 AQ Suicene for a Neo 3 one to abuse Double Gust) Unless I play EX. Blastie and Scizor/Steelix. Hope you stay with Pokemon to the end. which (In my opinion) will NOT be when wizards loses the licence.

I really think that those 3 decks are really cool, specially te g8tr one, due to the fact that i have one near to exact as yours and i've won 4 battlezones in a row since i started using it. I seriously recommend you use the g8tr one, from personal experience, as i have played a wide variety of decks and my current record with tthat deck is 54-3. And i suggest also to take out the skarmory, and place maybe a pichu, also take out 1 pokemon fanclub and the oaks research for 2 bill's maintenance. plus i recommend you play all totdiles with rage, and also go on a 4-3-3 evo line, to put in another memory berry, these have saved me the game many times.

sorry i can't give advice on the other 2, as i used to play kingdra but it never really worked for me, and i've never played kabutops.

good luck on superbattlezone. bad there isn't any here in mexico.... [Frown]

Great Job on the Kaptups deck, I have been looking for a good one for a while and have been very unsuccessful myself [Frown] . I'm going to test it out so I'll tell you how it works

Hey, Welcome back. I tried to tweak all 3, but your Gatr list is so close to perfect I had a hard time with it. I would try this:

First Deck:

-1 Skarmory- You don't need it, Not much else to it.
+1 TV- I really like 2 TV, even though in most my lists I never have room. It helps you rebuild, especially if 1 is prized.

-1 Research
+1 Copycat- It's really a minor difference, But for the times you want a guaranteed card number, you have elm

of course, that's just me.

Second Deck:

-1 Water
+1 Center- IF your going to use it, abuse it... or something.

I would try to fit a 4th copycat in there, but that's just me.

Third Deck:

Why don't you play 4 Undergrounds? IMO they are better in every way, unless I missed something.

How about getting 4 Recycle energy in here? I mean, Both Kabutops only need ONE fighting to attack. The rest can be anything.

I'm not sure I like the bans at all, I know they CAN be good. But I would rather have 2 free spots. Maybe +1 GB and +1 copycat/research/TV/fan club?

That's about all I can think of, I'll catch you on AIM again sometime.
