Interesting deck - I'm a sucker for Houndoom. Nice doggie!
Pokemon look ok, but you need more ways to get those tech cards. My suggestions:
-2 electric (with 4 rainbow this should still cover buzz)
+2 Elms Training method (save those traders for the tech cards)
-2 copycat - IMHO and experience if your up against any kind of skilled player your hand size will be about equal anyway - and not big enough to make this worthwhile.
+2 Gold Berry - Houndoom just can't take too much abuse.
-1 Bill - you have plenty of card draw
+1 Fire

PS: I agree - plunder rocks

I love the dog too! Plunder rocks! I tried GB at the tourney on Saturday and with all the big hitters in this format, my doggie went to thhe discard pile with the gold berry in tow! Thats why I went all bands. I will switch 1 electric for a fire. I do not have any Elms Training method but I did not have any prooblems with draw. It is great with no king around! I may sneak in 1 more dark houndoom to fight off all the steelix around.

The D Houndoom is vastly underrated IMHO. I made a deck that uses Porygon2 energy convert to change fire (or whatever) to dark for dark fire - 50 for 2, discard 1 - makes him pretty fast in my book. Works pretty good - but as in any "strange" combo it has it's quirks but it's fun to play.
For some reason Steelix isn't a force around here so I get outta practise dealing with it... yer right focus is a much better solution if you have to deal with stuff like encargo.
