I liked the other deck, props to Gymbo, but I've been working with this one longer, and IMO it's more fun to play, and that's what I'm all about...looking for suggestions tho...please help if you can...remember...MMF.

There it is...I've noticed people play less Gyms in MMF, so hopefully the steelixes won't have ecogyms out so I can steal their metals, and all big fire dies in a hit from gatr...and...well...that's basically all I expect to see...

SI lapras is cool, but he's got a retreat cost, and he's lightning weak, and doesn't pack as much of a punch as I'd like. In the time I can build lapras, I can build 2/3 of a dark gatr instead.
Yes, 3 Darks are Sufficient for 2 Krow...4 Rainbow 4 Dark is overkill.
I will take some of your advice tho, and drop a cleffa and a water, and add a mary and a teleporter...great Idea.
Anybody else?

Then, you should do this.
- 3 Water
+ 1 Dark
+ 2 Rainbow
Rainbow is used when you have about 30 damage on Gator. Attach a Gold Berry and a Rainbow and the damage is gone.

Mary is better than teleporter . in MMf there isn't much draw cards and you shouldn't depend on a single flip to draw cards with mary you get cards with no flipping involved . I've seen alot of your decks and i was wondering why you play Gold Berry over Focus Band ?

The main reason people played focus band in MF was because gatr and magcargo were one hit KOing everything, and you had to play FB or just die with a GB attached. Here, ampharos, steelix, and other big fire are everywhere, and GB works wonders IMO.
...and my focus bands never worked anyway.

Krowbat
expect to be killed fast by all of them.. Krow will be hitting 2nd turn (i luv breeder) as well as entei cargo... gl on survivng againest a crobat... u go first... totodile out vs. zubat... hit it for 10 damage... zubat (if the player was smart) hits you for 20... u evolve 20... zubat breeds into crobat triggered poison... O LOOK crobat wins

The only thing I would add is that I like to go with 1-2 more basics. With only 10 you have a 25.9% chance of giving a mulligan. Eleven would bring it down to 22.2% and 12 would get it down to 19.1%. Just a thought.

yes i do think that they will play it, also i think that some people are still gonna play gatr... just use parasect and entei... crobat is a great deck no matter, it owns with status effects... 60% chance your confused with cross attack, and zubat will poison u to start... my MMF decks are Entei/Cargo and this 1, that i just posted, Crobat with raticate (BE affraid of raticate)

Where have you been playing? All I've seen is amphy, steelix/water, and entei/something or typhlosion/something decks. I haven't seen any bat...and not much kingdra...and I'm not really that worried about kingdra.
See? One person's telling me mary is better, another telling me teleporter's better. (Told ya.) So I'm playing BOTH.

My suggestion is:

-2 Mary

(you have plenty of card draw)
-1 Double Gust
-2 Murkow
-3 Darkness
+3 Onix LC
+2 Steelix
+3 Steel
+1 R Hideout (you need 'em)
+1 Iggly (gaze for Slowking - or even another Iggly!)
Reasons? Murkrow is just too situational - Steelix just sneers at anything less than big fire which Gatr will take care of handily. Hope this gets to you in time! Good luck at Origins - I was gonna go and then something came up...

mcad is right me and my 2 friends are goin to origins (we all decided to go with archetypes) one is bringin a kingdra one an entei/magcargo variation and im bringin a crobat. i love my crobat. but im not tryin to be meen but mcad is right agasin by sayin gl about winnin against a crobat somehow you need to cover your weeknesses.

lets say there is 200 people that go, this is how many decks u will see
Archtypes
20 Kingdra
30 Entei/Cargo
25 Crobat
Discovered Rouges
10 TurboTops
10 Water/Steelix
15 Amphy
Rest will be unused rouges... i suggest u go with adding stellix, but once he dies againest big fire, i would not recomend just pumping steelix with metal, so heres what i say
-2 Gold Berry
-2 Tyrouge
-3 Mary
-3 Water
+3 metal
+3 Onix
+3 Steelix
+1 Focus
May the force be with you, you will need it for rouge to win, sorry but facts are facts

I do think there will only be one crobat played and thats zapdoskid. Crobat really lost almost all its power in mmf simply becuase gatr is dead. Now the only played weak to grass thing is tops or dark gatr. Neither are played as much as gatr and that means crobat cant survive off them like he did with gatr. Crobat is still good but not as good and not a 'type. Even if it is played a lot mmf is only used for 3 rounds.
On to the deck. I think you should go 3/3 with gold berry and focus. Also just choose either mary or teleporter because they are taking up lots of room. Whichever you pick max out on and then maybe add 2 darks. GL shrewy

Well...I went 3-0 in Draft, and 3-1-1 In Constructed, giving me a 6-1-1 Record Overall in the Prof's Challenge thingie...and a spot in the top 8.

The Decks I played against in constructed were like this: (In no order)
1 Weedle deck - All I saw...go dark gatr.
1 Ampharos Deck - Piked on Sheep, and Fought Some Zappy
1 Dark Toise Deck - Elekid FTKed a Squirtle, I had a 3rd turn Dark Gatr, he never really recovered.
2 Entei/Cargo - See below
I beat everything except the entei/cargos. In my first game against one, the deck just fell apart...nothing was where it needed to be, and my flips/draws were crap...there was just nothing I could do. On my second game against another entei/cargo, we decided to ID in the last round to guarantee both of our spots into the T8...I entered in 2nd.
The Deck - Probably Retired. It saw it's big tourney. I hope other people see it's potential. It seems to outspeed lots of decks. Fury Swipes is awesome first turn, clamping Jaw is awesome second, and crushing blow is godly right after. With all that drawing, it really just races through the deck.
...and about the decision over whether to play Mary or Bill's teleporter...I've decided something:

where was this... origins? anyways, i cant beleive people are tossing bat... if i go to worlds *crosses fingers* then i WILL definetly play crobat... i oisted the deck here... its an insane deck to say the least easily takeing down all decks, except i do see problems with fire ![[Razz]](tongue.gif) , but it will dominate the play, with quick! hits... well i hope to see if i can go to worlds and if i can u will see my little crobat working people all over *snickers* mmmmmm... snickers *drools*

Thankx to everybody for all the help. The deck changed quite a bit IMO, and I am pleased with the end result. I did not add steelix because it would drastically detract from the speed, and impare my ability to DGoW and KO stuff...which was a great weapon.
Props to everybody at origins with original rogue decks.

Congrats, Rocket's Sandshrew. You went ahead with Dark Gatr and did just fine. Sounds like you were as tired as I was after that top 8 draft. I couldn't have asked for a better tournament. Well...maybe if we had satrted at like 10:00 instead of 12:00, but oh well. Good times. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

i was a little tired then... it was like 3 AM... but yes i am confident... rather be cocky, then say, "I'll never win it."
but to the archtypes... do u think u would've won it againest last cargo? u can whooped by first... and this guy had to have a nice score... all im saying is that i listed the 3 main archtypes to worry about... and what to fear IMO what are u gonna play for worlds? Also i would recomend using counter for those three decks
