Here my deck.Got any comments/suggestion???

Pokemon
4 Sabrina's Abra
3 Sabrina's Kadabra
4 Natu
3 Xatu (Neo genesis)
3 Slowpoke (Neo discovery)
2 Slowking
2 Cleffa (shuffle hand into deck, draw 7 draw)
2 Rocket's Mewtwo
2 Girafarig (Neo dicovery)
-------------
Trainer
4 Prof.Elm
4 Gold Berry
3 Resistance Gym
2 Gust of Wind
2 Pokemon Trader
-------------
Energy
20 Psychic Energy

I would try to get at least 1 Slowking in my bench and Cleffa as my active. Then I would search my deck for Sabrina's Abra,Natu and 2 Rocket's Mewtwo. Then I would evovle my S Abra and Natu.

At the end my bench/active would look like this.

Active : Cleffa
Benched: Slowking *1
Rockets Mewtwo *2
Xatu *1
Sabrina's Kadabra *1

Its a decent start. Heres the question, is it for the Unlimited Format (any English released card except Ancient Mew and Happy Birthday Pikachu) or Modified (currently any cards from the Neo Genesis, Neo Discovery, Neo Revelation, Neo Destiny, the Legendary Collection, Expedition, the Southern Islands Collection, and the Blackstar Promos 21+, with the excveption of Neo Genesis's Sneasel and the same Promos prohibited above in Unlimited)? It needs just a few tweaks to have a shot a Unlimited (insert the standard Trainer Engine, clean up the evo lines). For Modified, it needs about the same, except Sabrina's Pokemon are from the Gym sets (and/or one Promo Abra), so they'd have to go. Slowking is very good in Modified though. Let me know and I'll check back and try to gice you a real fix. [Smile]

Okay, now I need to know if you want a "cheap deck" (meaning mostly Uncommons in the fix) or if I should go all out (not worrying about the price of the cards). Sorry, I should have asked this last night. If its "all out" my fix will basically entail the standard "Trainer Engine", which has several rares (Computer Search, Item Finder, Super Energy Removal), as well as dropping Xatu/Natu (and maybe Slowking), adding Sabrina's Alakazam, and then several Powerful, basics Psycics for Sabrina's Alakazam's power. The Cheap one will be hard...

Hmm...put all the rare cards as long it does good to my deck.

But please don't put
1)Sabrina's Alakazam - Rocket Mewtwo seem to be a better choice for me.
2)Computer Search - Have it but I don't like it.
3)Non-psychic pokemon - Please don't change my deck too much.
4)Super Energy Removal - Nah,don't like discarding
my energy cards.

And don't you dare drop Slowpoke/Slowking.They are totally wonderful.

Any other cards either rare-holo or common is welcome.

Mkymws gave a very nice amd fairly complete list (unfortunately) of the cards that can help S Kadabra get single attack kills. The problem with S Kadabra is that even if you get the flip, you are still unable to finish the job before the defending pokemon has a turn to heal/evolve to more HP/attack. (Lt Surge's Raticate had this 'mirage' problem too, but worse.)

Having to flip means that the damage you do with Life Drain is only 'worth it'for fairly large HP pokemon, say 60+. Against babies it's horrible (1/4 chance to do 20?)

I don't like Digger much since you are twice as likely to take damage as your opponent. However, if you are 10HP from taking down a Feraligatr...

D Goldbat has only 1 flaw: you have to apply resistance, so it can't finish off a Steelix, one of the juiciest targets for Life Drain. Even D Crobat, which ignores resistance and does 20 can't overcome 2 metal energies. Also, for recycling the Bats to your hand, use Hyper Devolution Spray or Super Scoop Up if you are greedy.

S Kadabra is quite effective against large Pokemon of any color, especially those with a self-damaging attack. It has a 1 energy attack and 1 energy retreat which is perfect for swarming (running multiples with Pokemon Center, etc) and makes Super Energy Removal a joy to use. Just don't try to use it as your only attacker.

I used to run a S Kadabra (W/out S Kazaam)

It usually isn't worth it...unless you've posined somthing that they can't retreat or somthing.

Based on your response to my second question, go with mkymws fix, as I pretty much find all your statements illogical (Computer Search is one of the best Trainers, if not the best, Recycle Energy makes SER's practically free, Sabrina's Alakazam makes almost any Psychic Pokemon Better, etc.). So all of my fixes would be "illegal". Sorry for wasting your time. I hope the others helped you [Smile]
