It's been a while since I've played and I was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions on how to improve upon this Dark Gengar Deck. The major problem I found with it was resistance; if I came up against a colorless pokemon with resistance to psychic, I was in a sticky situation (explosion at a peanut butter and molases factory sticky). I left room for 5 more suggestions for cards (preferably trainers). Any suggestions with trainers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx ^_^
Pokemon Cards (24): 4 Gastly (Neo Destiny) 3 Dark Haunter (Neo Destiny) 3 Dark Gengar (Neo Destiny) 4 Drowsee (Legendary Collection) 3 Hypno (Aquapolis) 3 Misdreavus (Neo Revelation) 2 Igglybuff (Promo #36) 1 Cleffa (Neo Genesis)
Trainer Cards (10): 4 The Boss’s Way (Legendary Collection) 2 Professor Elm (Neo Genesis) 4 Professor Elm’s Training Method (Expedition) 3 Focus Band (Neo Genesis) 2 Magnifier (Neo Destiny)
Energy Cards (22): 22 Psychic Energy [ February 23, 2003, 10:09 AM: Message edited by: FantomX ]

Energy Cards (22): 22 Psychic Energy
-1 Gastly Neo Destiny -1 Drowsee -1 Misdreavus -8 psychic energy -4 Bosses Wa -4 Professor Elm Trainging Method -2 igglybuff
+1 Cleff +1 Town Volunteers or Time Capsule +3 Copycat +1 Pro Elm +3 Double Gust +3 Focus Band +2 Pokeman fan Club +3 Trader +4 Warp energy/or 2 warp energy and 2 switch
You need the warp energy/switch to get Hypno out of the active position after you have put the defending pokemon to sleep with its pokemon power. You need the focus bands for Misdreavus so that he can survive the opponents attack after you use night eyes attack. You also need the dubble gust so that you can attack with Misdrevous in case they benched the pokemon you attacked last turn with Midreavus night eyes attack. You can double gust it out and knock it out if you attacked with night eyes attack the previous turn.

The resistance problem can be solve by any one of them:
1. magnifier 2. gligar 3. tyrogue 4. sprout tower
Keep those ELm's training method, you will need them.
