Light Ladian Pokes (17) 3 cleffa 3 pichu 3 smeargle 2 ledyba lv 18 (swift) 2 ledyba lv 19 (comet punch) 4 light ladian
trainers (27 ) 4 focus bands 4 elm 4 double gust 3 wrath 3 rsa 3 chaos 2 resistance gym 2 gaze 2 time capsule
nrg 10 grass 4 full heal (bat/ghost/DMuk tech) 2 recycle (makes smeargle zero retreat) I know it looks weak to fire but try it first before you say that. It will surprise you. PsYcOdAd

Light Ledian used as a MAIN atacker?well, there'd a first time for everything. Here's my suggestion:
-1 Smeargle -1 Pichu
+2 Rocket's Scyther
everything else looks good.

Looks great, except for a few small things.
I'd take out both sabrina's gaze for another Wrath and Sneak attack.
I'd make all the ledybas the one with comet punch.
And I'd do this with the energy:
10 Grass 4 Recycle 2 Full Heal
Because if you forsee status being a nasty problem, you've got flash touch. The two remaining full heal energies are for dark gengar (who's just about dead around here.)
Have fun with this, originality = good.

I think that the deck looks solid as is. But, Light Ladian doesn't pack enough punch IMO. Maybe you could try some Rocket's Scyther or Promo Scyther as back up. I just don't know what to do with this deck. Try this -1 Smeargle -1 Full Heal Energy -1 Pichu +2 Rocket's Scyther +1 Promo Scyther (nice early game hitter)
Just my two cents. Luke

Light ledian hits just as hard as crobat, except without confusion...with focus banded pichu swarms, you could take down most big fire, and smeargle's pretty solid. The biggest problem I can see this deck having is agaisnt steelixes...hopefully you can pick off the grass weak onixes before they're big.
...and people wonder why MF needs DCE...

Wow, Thanx for all the good suggestions. I tried it out last night with Jrod against Kingdra and while I lost by 2. It still played well. I have beaten some good fire decks and with chaos, it does ok against gator. I am planning on changing the nrg a little per Sandshrew, dropping a smeargle and adding a scyther or 2. Not sure what I will drop to add the second scyther. I really like 3 pichus to swarm the opponent. I may try the erica/ior/rsa for speed. I know it works. And yes, my 6 year old (ThunderWarrior) crushed me by 4 with steelix last night but almost every deck has a counter that beats it. I could not get a Resistance Gym! If they add DCE to MMF, watch out!I can tell you this, it is unique and fun to play. PsYcOdAd [ April 24, 2002, 07:10 PM: Message edited by: PsycoDad ]

Hey Champ, Be more specific if you want to critique. Yes I have beaten big fire decks. Pichu swarms and smeargle are all I usually play. It is not an every time thing but it is better odds than you would think. It comes down to how the opponent plays his deck. If he drops Typlo/entei/macargo pichu can hurt with a band and smeargle is also good tech. If they do ot evolve, it is a different game. As far as gator goes, it comes down to the timing of Chaos. I am not saying this is an arch type. It is a fun deck that is pretty good. In the future, I suggest you try a deck before you comment on it.
