Tomarrow (Sunday 9/15) is league for me and knowing my store, if by any chance they got hold of their expedition cards by now, they'll put them out tomarrow during league. So, I want to build a deck that can easily be rebuilt using similar cards from the new collection. This is what I call a "transition" deck, it's meant for league difficulty decks and it can easily switch out cards as soon as I get them into my hands.

So how do this? Basically using existing collection of cards I have and then studying the new collection's spoiler. I plan what kind of deck I would like to have. For Expedition, I designed the two decks out of the great, the mighty,

Dunsparce!!!

Just kidding, Charizard.

Deck One Title: Charizard to Charizard (Phase One)
Class: Modified
Pokémon: 19
4 Charmander (Legendary)
3 Charmeleon (Legendary)
3 Charizard (Legendary)
4 Entei (Neo Revelation)
3 Cleffa (Neo Genesis)
2 Tyrouge (Neo Discovery)
Trainers: 21
4 Professor Elm (Neo Genesis)
4 Bill (Neo Genesis)
3 Pokémon Trader (Legendary)
3 Energy Retrival (Legendary)
4 Gold Berry (Neo Genesis)
3 Double Gust (Neo Genesis)
Energy: 20
20 Fire Energy

Fair deck alone wouldn't you say? It's able to knock over a 7-eleven but not a Wal-mart. Now, this deck is easily switchable once I start getting cards from Expedition. Here are the changes assuming if I had any expedition cards avalable:

Deck Two Title: Charizard to Charizard (Phase Two)
Take Deck One and make the following changes:
Remove:
4 Charmander (Legendary)
3 Charmeleon (Legendary)
3 Charizard (Legendary)
2 Tyrouge (Neo Discovery)
3 Pokémon Trader (Legendary)
3 Energy Retrival (Legendary)
3 Double Gust (Neo Genesis)

Add:
4 Charmander (Expedition 98/165)
3 Charmeleon (Expedition)
3 Charizard (Expedition 6/165:40/165)
2 Magby (Expedition)
3 Professor Elm's Training Method (Expedition)
3 Energy Restore (Expedition)
3 Pokémon Reversal (Expedtion)

Get the idea, I basically replace the cards with similar cards that do the same objective (only better). Now I don't know what you think about Energy Restore or Pokémon Reversal but I think they do great.

So, quick recap. Basically I first build the first deck and tweak it when I get the cards I really want. In this case, Charizard (Legendary) to Charizard (Expedition) This is what I call "transition". What's your thoughts about the decks and my strategy called "transition"?

Following Wizpog Guidelines, here are the cards that I mentioned that have not been offically released yet.

This deck is cool but it's missing 2 things.
1. Some kind of support pokemon to fight other than charizard
2. MORE switching power. You're meat if you have bad luck with flips.
Nice with the spanish [Razz]
