ok so here goes pkmn 19 3 pidgey 3 pidgeotto 2 pidgeot (base set) 3 erikas dratini 3 erikas clefairy 3 elekid 2 aerodactyl (fossil) trainers 25 3 misterious fossil 3 elms 3 focus band 3 gust of wind 2 switch 2 pkmn trader 3 potions 2 super energy removals 2 mr fuji 2 mary
4 recycle energy 4 double colorles 4 potion energy 4 heal energy
Basically the strategy here is to stop my opponent from evolving his pokemon with aerodactyl's power while I can with erikas clefairy ( i read the compendium and it works). If he does evolve I can send his evolved pokemon back to his hand with pidgeot and with erikas dratii active I take only 10 damage from basic pkmn and with elekid I can attack from the bench. as for enerfy, I dont need that much especially cos all these pkmn have all attacke with colorless energy so I dont need any particular energy, and with recycle energy I can always get some back one way or another. as for trainers, I can use pkmn trader to get more needed pkmn from the deck. so what do u think? any suggestions? It seems you joined recently. Back to Basics is a good strategy, one I use. A stall deck, yes? Well, your strategy is good, but you might need a strong Pokémon to finish off the Basic Pokémon once they have been devolutionized. A Rocket Hitmonchan, or one of the ferocious Fire Pokémon like Charizard and Blaine's Arcanine, to make sure basic Pokémon don't strike back with surprise evolutions (Eevee is a good example). It is a good Stall deck, but can be at risk. Chuck a Fire Pokémon in to save the day, if the opponent makes a surprise counterattack.
Aipom
-------------------- Aipom is a Monkey Pokémon. It swings from tree to tree. It is cute, but if threatened it will not hesitate to use its Hyper Beam to annihilate the threat. Aipom works well with its cousin, Mankey. They battle side by side in most confrontations.

I'll get you some draw power:
-3 Potions -3 Elms (Optional) -3 Switch (pointless) -2 MR. Fuji +3 Cleffa +3 Oaks (Optional) +2 SER (SER is really good with Recycle Energy) +1 Pidgeot (it's Jungle, not Base set) +2 Nightly Garbage Run (So you can get back what was KO'ed, but you can't get any of your energy because it's not Basic) You might want to consider putting Bills in your deck.
Those are my Fixes. [ April 14, 2002, 05:05 AM: Message edited by: The pkmn dude ]
