3 LC Arcanine
1 LC Growlithe
2 AQ Growlithe
1 ND Growlithe
3 Cleffa
3 NG Typhlosion
1 NG Quilava
2 NG Quilava 70HP
2 ND Cyndaquil
2 NG Cyndaquil 50HP

20 Total Pokemon

3 Professor Elm
4 Gold Berry
3 Switch
3 Double Gust
3 Focus Band
2 Copycat
2 Town Volunteer
2 Pokemon Fan Club

22 Total Trainers

15 Fire Energy
3 Steel Energy

18 Total Energy

60 Total Cards

I looked up LC and Arcanine was in it, so I decided to use it again. I added in Typhlosion to get back the energy I discarded. It might not be the best suited for it, but still. If it isn't then give some suggestions.

I had a similar deck awhile ago, before Aquapolis. I was just recently thinking about dusting it off and updating it. Now, I think I just might. [Wink]

I ran Entei instead of Typhlosion. That opened up spots for Elekids that really helped versus water-types. With this deck, water will kill ya.

I hope this tidbit helps....

My first instinct is to add some Jugglers for card drawing.

The big plus is that Jugglers let you put energy into the discard pile that Typhlosion can pull back.

But you reiterate what Aelflaed said, I'd recommend trying to fit Entei in there somewhere.

If you can abuse the "1 energy per turn" rule, then you gain a big advantage.

well i can point out some things that would be possibly better to do..(1)put in weakness guard(2)more draw (3)drop the typhlo. this will speed u up and make room for stuff(4)TECH, prolly one or two buzz and maybe a caterpie(this will stop water)
So heres my fix:

3 LC Arcanine
2 LC Growlithe
2 AQ Growlithe
2 Cleffa
2 elekid
1 tyrouge
3 entei(rev)
1 smeargle (promo)paint attack will change their type so water is useless

18 Total Pokemon

4 Professor Elm
3 Gold Berry
3 Switch
3 Double Gust
4 Focus Band(this will be more effective against water
3 Copycat
2 Town Volunteer
1 Pokemon Fan Club
3 weaknness gaurd
2 scooop up

25 Total Trainers

14 Fire Energy
3 Steel Energy

this should work a little better and faster now u can mize. you probably dont need alot of scoop up unless u want it. now it should work pichu is good unless entei is stuck so thats an iffy card in this but good luck!

Ummm, doesn't Genesis Typhlosion pull Energy from the deck? Seems to me that a Typhlosion deck with a bit of luck and a way to devolve (method like Hyper Devolution Spray, but that one's not allowed) could be pretty good. Try comboing with the Aq one (Heat Up).

The NG one lets you get one fire energy per turn out of your discard pile and place it on one of your pokemon, with a flip of a coin.

I tried Entei before and I don't like it at all. It wastes a turn, and take too much to attack constanly.

I can see taking Typhlosion out but it would be nice to power up arcanine in two turns doing 70 and 10 to himself.

How about add in a pidgeot that picks up the opponets active and puts it in their hand? No flip required too!

Still I need a good substitute for typhlosion. I would like to to be a stage 1 at most so I can have some more cards in my deck.

Thanks for the tips everyone.

this will probably sound weird, but what about considering light flareon?, think of it, first turn, fire to eevee (neo destiny) heads and evolve to light flareon, growlithe on the bench, then use flareons first attack to search you deck for a fire energy card and attach it to a benched pokemon.... its just an idea...
