Pokemon: 18
4 Poliwag 2 Poliwhirl 4 Politoed 3 Cleffa 3 Tyrogue 2 Suicune (AQ)
Energy: 18
18 Water Energy
Trainers: 24
4 Seer 4 Gold Berry 3 Pokemon Trader 3 Pokemon Breeder 4 Professor Elm 4 Switch 2 Super Energy Retrievel
The strategy of this deck is to speed up sudden growth with Seer and Elm . Then multiple time Energy Splash to power up another Politoed until my Politoed runs out of energy . Then use Frog Hop and retreat when necessary .
Fixes please ?
Thank you

if you read the single card threads, there is an ongoing idea for this deck that you may like. AQ Espeon.

I think that a very good Pokemon to put in this kind of deck would be E1 Poliwrath, since you can power it up in two different ways: either attack the energy over to it, or Plunge into the active position. Either way, it makes for a very impressive combo, considering the massive damage potential of that card. Think about that, and running a 4-2-6 line with 3 Wrath and 3 Toed.

Here's my very simple fix:
-4 Gold Berry +4 Moo-Moo Milk
Gold Berry is a no-no in any format. If you attached it to a Pokémon, decided to wait until the start of your turn to use it, and that Pokémon is Knocked Out, Gold Berry is useless. Moo-Moo Milk is useless only if you get two tails flips, and it's still available even if you shuffle it into your deck (as you can always re-draw it).
*SO this is WHY you have acquired your REPUTATION??? Please the only OTHER TOURNEY worthy alternative to GB is FOCUS BAND; not a flippy card; OK, some use it BUT moo moo milk is NOT a staple tourney card; PLEASE do not recommend this card. wizpog members already do not respect your opinion =/* [ June 08, 2003, 09:32 AM: Message edited by: IPGeek21 ]

Not this again, Carrington! This deck will do much better with the Gold Berries it has than Moo-Moo Milk. Anyway, I would say drop about 2-3 Energy for Copycat or Oak's Research. Granted, Copycat is usually weaker than Elm, and Oak's Research always is, but at least you can still play other Trainers after them. Basically, it's hard to have too much draw power, and 18 Energy is slightly high.

well carington i hate so say it but i think i speak for all of us when i say stop with the moo-moo milk garbage.it will never be half as good as gold berry will.reasons to say this is playing moo moo milk means you have tou play it the turn your hurt when gold berry is ANYTIME in between turns and it stays.i think you are also confused by the card and dont know how to play it so you use moo moo milk instead.but thats IMO and everyone elses.im not trying to harrass you or insult your ways of playing but im simply saying you dont know the advantages of it.so back to the deck fix, my brother has been playing a version of this for a week or so now and it works really well with espy(AQ) and the new steelix(SR)because of his power but imo the espy is better. so heres my version.
pokemon:17 3 poliwag(EX) 3 poliwhirl(SR) 3 politoed (SR) 2 Eevee(DIS) 2 espeon(AQ) 2 cleffa 1 tyrogue 1 elekid
trainers:28 4 elm 4 trader 3 copycat 3 double gust 3 focus band 3 gold berry 2 nurse 2 fisherman 1 town volunteers 1 healing field
energy:15 12 water 3 rainbow
now i like the strategy of this because you can use espeons power to take the energies off of the politoed, use nurse, then use sudden growth.i know that this wastes a turn but it saves alot of politoeds. the rainbows are in there in case i need espeon to attack. so those are my changes and good luck with whatever version you decide to choose.

I like DIS Poliwhirl. It allows for easy energy addage. Also, GB goes off when you have four damage counters on. You cannot choose when to use it. It is manditory. And I don't believe moo moo milk shuffles itself back into the deck, or maybe I read that wrong.
I am testing out a Politoed/Poliwrath deck right now. If you can get one of each stage 2 going, and get 4-5 energy on each, you can do 70 with politoed or use plunge and do up to 140 damage with poliwrath.

Moo-Moo Milk doesn't shuffle itself back into your deck, but cards like Copycat can shuffle it into your deck.

Nor does Gold Berry...so why'd you put that in your post? If you re-shuffle goldberry into your deck..you can still draw it...you do that with any card. Have you read the edit placed in your original post anyway? It's from, IPGeek21, and incase you haven't:

Now, this may seem a little odd, but in Nintendo's format, you "might" even want to try your luck playing with one Kyogre EX. Remember how Blastoise and Articuno went hand-in-hand in the unlimited days of old? Well, now Politoed and Kyogre EX can do likewise!

those AQ Suicunes threw me for a sec. Why would you want to play it when the only energy in the deck is water, which you cant attach....... oh yeah, Politoeds second attack moves energy off of toed and onto Suicune, Duh!!!!!
Anyways I really think Espy can pull this deck off. Now healing cards arent Gold Berry (or moo-moo) but are Pokecenter and Nurse. Plus you can always pick the benched energy to repower the active and a Couple of Warp to escape trouble when healing cards arent available. a couple of Rainbow could be good, just be carefull with them.
I would recomend either straight Lightning weak, or mixed for Whirls and Tads. There is little Lightning being played, least around here, and a lot of Grass. NR Whirl is good for getting energy, but at a high cost of 3 damage.

Nice Deck.
I had played against a SK Politoed a few weeks ago, and wasn't impressed with it. However the owner of that deck hadn't thought through some of the combinations that you have here (seer, AQ Suicune, etc.)
The only thing I can think of is reducing the number of Cleffa's and Tyrogue's. You have 3 Traders, and I'd add a couple of Pokemon Fan Clubs. That will let you put your hand on one anytime you need it.

Heres the deck i have been playing it really works out and is very quick...
Pokemon:13 4x Poliwag(EX) 4x Politoed (3 SK 1 ND) 2x Cleffa 1x Tyrogue 2x Suicune(non holo NR)
Trainers: 31 4x Elm 2x Trader 3x Fast Ball 4x Copycat 4x Breeder 4x Double Gust 2x Fisherman 2x Strength Charm 4x Gold Berry 1x Energy Stadium 1x Town Volunteers
Energy:16 16x Water
The Breeder/Fast Ball combo is almost broken in this deck. Its like dealing 70 turn 3. And a Politoed turn 2. The ND Politoed is tech against Scizor and Feraligatr. you can OHKO gatr with a Strength charm on toed and the ND toed out. This is really a cool deck. I hope you like it. Go with Mono toed btw.
