Pokemon 16
4 Poliwag
2 Poliwhirl
2 Poliwrath Exp
2 Politoad Sky
2 Elekid
3 Tyrogue
1 Suicune NH

Trainers 25
4 Elm
3 Copycat
4 Trader
4 Breeder
3 Seer
2 Fisherman
3 Double Gust
4 Gold Berry
1 Town Volunteers

Energy 16
16 Water

Its a pretty simmple strategy. U breeder a politoad and a poliwrath 2 or 3 turn and use sudden growth next turn use poliwrth's pokemon power plunge and do major damage as soon as possible.

Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better. Now, I look at your evolution, and I only see death and destruction in your future. Going in with 4 Stage 2s and 2 Stage 1s is suicide. I personally like to play a 3-2-1 (3 Basic, 2 Stage 1, 1 Stage 2) or a 4-3-2 for my evolution chains. But if you insist on 4 Stage 2s (which I definately don't recommend), at least go 4-4-4, because if you go 4-2-4 like you did, you have just wasted 2 evolution cards. I would also recommend adding some Pokemon Breeder Fields, to speed up evolution.

In conclusion:

-3 Double Gust (you don't really need it)
-2 Elm
+2 Poliwhirl (any expansion)
+3 Pokemon Breeder Fields

You might want to subtract 1 Elm and 1 Town Volunteers, but I am not very good with the new cards, and this might be a card that you could seriously use to your advantage.

Let me point out some things, he's only got 2 poliwhirl in there, because hes got BREEDERS! this let you skip to a stage 2 pokemon, from its basic form, also, why wouldn't he want double gusts in there? double gust are like a gust of wind but with a drawback, and taking away 2 elms is not fine, this let you go through your deck, to get the cards you need, and you will probably get the evolutions you want, instead of using pokemon breeder fields, plus he has got 4 pokemon trader which is enough to get the pokemon he needs at the time he needs it. and why go 3-2-1, or 4-3-2 instead of going 4-4-4 which will give more opportunity for you to get the needed basic and evolution, there is more PROBABILITY that you get them...

1. I am not blind; I can see that he has breeders. But you refered to probability, and according to that, it would just be 2 more chances for a Stage 2.

2. I look down on double gust for this exact drawback.

3. Professor Elm does NOT let you search your deck for the cards you need; it just gives you an opportunity to get them if you are lucky. I would throw in a couple of Computer Search, if you are looking for some exact card.

4. If you play your evolutions 4-4-4, it is true that you get a better probability, but if a Basic or Stage 1 gets KOed, then you just got some cards that have a 0% chance of being played that game. And unless you're using a Computer Search, Itemfinder, or something of that sort, these cards are useless.

So my advise is, if you must play your evolutions 4-4-4, at least throw in some Computer Search, or something to take away those cards that won't be used.

Dark-Zapdos, I really like your deck. I've played this Poliwrath and think what you're trying to accomplish with it is spot-on.

You've got the right trainers in place, specifically Fisherman/Seer, Breeders, and Traders.

If I were running this deck, I would change the following...

-2 Elekid
-1 Tyrogue
+3 Cleffa

You need to start off drawing.

-1 Elm
+1 Town Volunteer

I think 3 Elms (along with the Copycats) will be enough draw power. A 2nd Town Volunteer will probably help.

-4 Gold Berry
+3 Pokemon Nurses
+1 Energy Stadium

Nurses are going to help your Poliwraths much more than Gold Berries. Plunge + Nurse is a great approach.

I like Energy Stadium and it will help you in this deck more than it will help your opponent. I would like to add Juggler in somehow (for draw power and to force energy into the discard pile to be picked back up by the Energy Stadium), but I'm not sure how to do that. Maybe remove 1 Copycat and 1 Trader.
