Leave Electrode Active, attach Gold Berry, Leave Villeplume(AQ) and Venusar(EX) and Meganium (Wild Growth) on the Bench and you will dominate the Energy!! Lets see... this will be somethig like this: 1 Free Energy attachment for the turn *activate Harvest Bounty* 1 More Energy Villeplume, heads, - another Energy Electrode, heads, another Energy
So... a Card like Dark Ampharos could be powered up in ONE turn.... With Meganium on the bench, and all the first 3 energy being Grass, you could attach the equivalent of 6 Grass and 1 Electric LEGALLY during EVERY TURN
Wow... these will definetly get banned like Base Blastoise..

Nobody in their right mind would play a deck with 3 stage 3's and 1 stage 2. Scratch that idea. You would be dead before you got out all those stage 3.

I just *love* it when they get all excited - especially when they lose their mind... Dude. Whoa. even running a 3-2-2 line you are talking about talking about 21 pokemon for the grass critters - then you wanna put Ampharos AND Electrode? So what the hey - it's been a while since I've seen a 30+ Pokemon deck - I mean that's only half the deck ...

Can someone help me out? I heard that the new Aquapolis Umbreon is good. I'd like to know what it does: attacks, retreat, weakness, resistance, pokemon power, HP.
I don't have the energy to sort through 301 replies. Can someone either post the card--or tell me the page of the post. Thanks.

Prime, stage 3 eh?
But yea the electrode...when i first saw the translation i thought you could use them from the bench...if that was the case i'd LOVE the card...but it having to be active is just not worth it.

Well, I do admit that the deck idea would be tought to do... but hey, if you did it right, even if it was only once or twice, wouldn't it be cool??!

Espeon H9 80HP
Here's what I found.
POKE-POWER Energy Return As often as you like during your turn (before your attack) choose an Energy card attached to 1 of your Pokemon and return it to your hand. This power can't be used if Espeon is affected by a Special Condition.
PCC Damage Blast Flip a number of coins equal to the number of damage counters on the Defending Pokemon. This attack does 30 damage plus 10 more damage for each heads.

Extra energy seems fun! But let's just hope they don't overdo it like they did with coin flips. I mean I don't want to hear some arguement post in a few months saying: "Too much energy-based Powers!"
Electrode sounds cool, but I'm not sure if I'd stick it in a deck. We'll just have to wait and see how well it does in the environement.

THe main use I can see for it is as back-up, hich is bad for a Stage 1. Still, if Lightning Resistance and and Metal types grow strong, it miht become a necessity. A straight 30 to Steelix each turn is rather nice, especially if it has 4 Metal on it already. As I said though, it's a Stage 1. With it's low retreat of 1, it could be useful, but I'd rather t had a higher retreat if it would have adequate HP-70 is the minimum "passing" HP for a Stage 1 normally, but thanks to Tyrogue, it's 80 for Lightning Types. Still, my Electabuzz deck has been having trouble with Steelix...

Aquapolis Umbreon. 80 HP Weak to Fighting res. to P
Power: Shadow Moon Allows you to look at opponents hand. Choose as many cards from it as you have Darkness Energy attached to Umbreon and shuffle them into their deck.. Then they draw the same number of cards.
Attack 3 colorless for 30 and the defending can't retreat on the next turn.

Presumably with several umbreon (umbreii??) you can use the power more than once.
and I guess even with no darkness you can still look at your opponents hand

so, how would this work exactly with Dark Porygon 2?

Yeah, but with only four Darkness Energies in a deck max (I suppose eight if you included Rainbow Energy), there's not much point in using the power multiple times.

I highly doubt you can use Umbreon's power more than once per turn. Otherwise, you could abuse it in a stall tactic.

Just did not want to write it all Power only when active and has to have Drakness Energy on it to look at hand.
Don't understand the conflict with Dark Pory2.

Well, with Tyrogue swarming the environment, I highly doubt anyone will be fielding an AQ Umbreon/Dk. Porygon2 deck...
But, expect the question at chat.

whoops I meant Porygon 2 i.e. PPower Energy Convertor... so if we had Basic Energy turned into Darkness, does it count in removing a card from the opponent's hand... or does Umby _have_ to have the Darkness Energy _card_ attached to it for this to happen..

First post!
.... Entei; what the fark? What kind of crappy power is that? Worse, the attack doesn't make good use of its inability to regularly hold fire energy, unlike Aquapolis Muk's power having SOMETHING to do with its attack. [deep sigh] Looks like Fossil Muk will be in every deck now.
BTW, shouldn't the power read "In order for you to attach a R Energy card to Entei, you must discard another energy card attached to it." or "If you attach a R Energy card to Entei, discard another energy card attached to Entei. (You can't attach a R Energy card to Entei if it has no Energy on it.)" [ January 15, 2003, 02:34 PM: Message edited by: nick15 ]
