Ruling 1: Q. If the opponent has Dark Ampharos, would "Conductivity" do 20 damage if I used "Blaine" to attach two fire energies? Also, would it do multiple damage if I used Blastoise's "Rain Dance" power? A. Yes, and yes. (Mar 21, 2002 WotC Chat, Q32)
Ruling 2: Q. Trigger Poison again; would a Rain Danced energy card trigger the poison? A. Nope. (Apr 25, 2002 WotC Chat, Q16)
Question/Theory: Rain Dance attaches energy from your hand, which is what both Conductivity and Triggered Poison require to trigger, so I figure that either both should be triggered by Rain Dance or neither should. I think this may fall under the same category as Warm Up attaching a Fire to Eevee ot working because it's an effect other than your once per turn energy, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I asked on the chats and both effects are triggered by Rain Dance. Yay if you don't play Rain Dance, D'oh! if you do.
