If dark wartortle TR uses its mirror shell and genesis mantine gets head using its undulate attack , Does Dark wortortle do that damge to mantine or not ?

I would think Mirror Shell would still work, because I don't think the "agility effect" (as it's called, because it originated on the common Agility attack) would have started yet.

Mirror Shell will work. In the Compendium, I believe there is something there about Counterattacks versus Protection Attacks, but if there isn't, the gist of it is that an Agility-type attack will not protect the Pokémon against a Counterattack, such as "Mirror Shell" or "Cross-Counter".

dmg first then effect : mantine attacks D.wartortle,D.wartortle mirror shell dmg mantine then flip for the mantine's attack effect after taking dmg
