SCS: Expedition Chansey By Espeon407
THE STATS With 90 HP, Chansey has some stay-age, but it’s not as much as it used to have (120 HP). Chansey’s Weakness, like most other Colorless Pokémon, is Fighting. However, in Expedition, most of the Colorless Pokémon has lost their Resistance to Psychic Pokémon (HALLEUJAH!), so Chansey has no Resistance. A Retreat Cost of 2 isn’t really that bad; the Energy could be retrieved via Energy Retrieval, etc.
THE ATTACKS Chansey’s first attack, for 2 Energy, Bind Wound, is basically a Potion that you have to flip a coin, and get heads for. Because it specifically says that you can choose “1 of your Pokémon,” you can choose to heal Chansey from its second attack, or 1 of your Benched Pokémon. Chansey’s second attack, for 3 Energy, Dogpile, is like a weaker “Beat Up” that deals damage to the attacking Pokémon. The maximum damage you can deal with it is 50. Be careful when you use it, because if you’re not careful, your opponent could KO Chansey.
COMBOS + Wigglytuff/Sneasel deck. This is an obvious. Use it like Sneasel/Wigg, but just don’t let your opponent KO Chansey (or you could just use Chansey to stall).
+ Potion, MooMoo Milk, Jungle Vileplume, etc. Dogpile could deal a lot of damage to Chansey, so stock up on healing Trainers and Pokémon that can heal others when using it.
+ Energy Search/ Expedition Clefable, etc. Chansey’s attacks require a lot of Energy, so be prepared.

In my opinion, I would just stick with Base Set Chancey. One retreat, 120HP, and with the right cards, a very good attack. But if you want to just stall, base set chancey is better.
