Unlike most of the other useless charizards, is the expedition one (100hp) playable in a not-so-competitive battle? Will it work if I build a deck involve around this charizard? I think this charizard is pretty good in both unlimited and modified. It's not that vulnerable against ER. All the basics and stage ones are pretty good as well, especially the expedtion charmeleon. The deck will be pretty original too. If this charizard works, which charmander will be the best in the evolution line, BS, TR or EXP? I'm NOT asking anyone to build a deck for me. I just want opinions about this charizard.

none of the Charizards are 1st tier tournament cards... any stage two that is weak to water is going to have difficulty with speed.

That said they aren't bad cards either. It is possible to build competitive decks using the big beasts: you just need something to keep your opponent at bay for the first 5 or 6 turns.

I think that base/LC Charizard is the best or the family it works so well with boost, recycle, double colourless. If you can get Charizard+ Harvest Bounty working then its a prize every turn!

As for the basic its usual to go with the highest HP. The stage one is determined by the energy mix you are running.

'Good News' or 'Bad News' but NOT NO NEWS

some people brag about their tournament results, me I'm gonna brag??? about what players have managed to get past me LOL

'legal stalling' : game loss at least
'only joking' on misreported match results: DQ Yep its that serious!
The prize swap penalty as it applies to shuffling.

I actually run a deck (modified) with this Charizard in it. His attack for 1 Energy is what I based the deck around. Since I used very little Fire energy, I based it off of his colorless attacks. In tis case I chose the Exp one with Burn. Its first attack is colorless for 10, and its second with a RC does 10 and a chance to Burn. (he was chosen for his status effect mostly.) The other Exp is a good choice too, 50 HP and a chance to do 20 for a colorless. If you will be running alotof Fire enrgy in the deck, TR will be the best choice I think.

Charmeleon is easy. Base and Exp have the same retreat, and HP, but Exp can attack for CC for 0/20/40 as opposed to CCC 30, and its FlameThrower cost RCC instead of RRC.

Strategy surounding this Charizard for my deck, basically like a Kingdra Center. With its first attack costing only C (generally provided by a Recycle) you can heal him to your hearts content with Nurse and Center. i also backed him with Fossil line of Muk, to kill off opponents powers, and Fossil grimer has nice 10 plus chance of Paralysis.

Hope this was helpfull, good luck building and running this deck.

To evolve, treat Eevee poorly, when it hates your guts, let it get ko'ed in th night while holding Spell Tag. PS, if it gets ko'ed outin the day, then it will die, go visit its grave in Soul House of Lavender, next to Fuji

As for your Charmanders, I suggest TR. Its Gather Fire Poke Power is very good for getting energy for big attacks.
