From what I recall about Kabutops' text I'd say no. Pokemon Breeder says you can only use it when you could normally evolve a pokemon.

Kabutops 90 Hp

Poke-BODY Primal Aura

As long as Kabutops is your Active Pokemon, neither player can play Basic Pokemon or Evolution cards from his or her hand to evolved Benched Pokemon.

(F,F,Colorless Dual cut 50x two coins, 50 times number of heads= retreat 2, weak grass)

Um.. not sure why it saiys you cant play a Basic Pokemon on your bench to evolve? or maybe it meens you cant play a basic?? EH?

Um regardless... I would say you cant evolve unless you use a power, becuase its comming from your hand otherwise.

I think it mentions basics to specifically point out that you can't evolve babies (ie Cleffa into Clefairy). And it looks like I did remember the text right. Since Kabutops stops you from evolving normally you can't use Breeder either.

I believe that this will be the same as the good old Fossil Aerodactyl, just a step down version.

This should follow the same rule of the Aerodactyl, but only affect benched pokemon.

Is that a typo? Should it be "to evolve Benched Pokemon"? Makes a big difference if its not a typo!
