can you use a pokmeon trader to trade a pokemon for a pokemon ex?, well, the pokemon trader says to trade a basic or evolution for a basic or evolution

another one can you evolve a omanyte(rock)to a omaster (water)? [Confused]

yes, you can evolve a fighting omanyte into a water omastar. Omastar specifies that it evolves from "Omanyte". It does not specify anything but the name of its lower form, it doesn't mention the type. [Wink]
