First of all which Surges Electrabuzz.
Okay now Abra from Exped.
HP 40

One color energy for scratch for 10 whole damage!

For one pyschic energy you can use confuse ray to do no damage and flip a coin to confuse. Weakness: Psychic No Resistance and Retreat of 1

Exped. Alakazam
HP 100 (?) (I don't have one, I'm going on memory)

Pokemon Power lets you use any of you opponents attack from the bench or active but you need the correct energies (can you say Eeeek anyone). His only real attack is Synchronize cost 2 Psychic and 2 Colorless to do 80 damage. But in order to you the attack your opponent has to have the SAME number of energy cards attached (In other words, you aren't using this attack against Jumpluff)

As for which Alakazam is better. I would say Base Set because it can shift the damage counters and then use a Pokemon Center. It works great with Steelix or almost any other high HP pokemon. The Expedition Alakazam has to hard of a time using the attack and in terms of using good attacks of your opponent you will most likely not have the right energy.

Now Base Kadabra is good for solid damage while Sabrina's has the ability to almost kill the opponent with a coin flip. So they are both good! See ya!

The Evolution of Steelix:
My many Steelix deck versions:
Electro-Crush (Rockets Zapdos)
Steel-Slash (Rocket's Scyther)
Steelix's Memory (Neo 3 Aerodactyl)
Whirpool Crush (Umbreon, Dark Vaporeon)
Crush Down (Arcanine)
Kabulix (Kabutops)
Steeleon (Espeon, holo Discovery)

And maybe more to come!

New Project: Swap n' Memory Raging (Aerodactyl [Revelation], Alakazam [Base/LC])

Espeon is 1!

Alakazam's Synchronize still does 20 damage if the two Actives don't have an equal number of energy cards.
