well, at least for the Neo expansions, here are some basics:

Baby Pokemon are new types of Basic Pokemon that require your opponent to flip a coin when attackig them. if tails, your opponent's turn ends without an attack.

There are some new energy cards around, they include:
Darkness - adds 10 damage to attacks
Metal - Reduced damage by 10
Boost - Provides CCC but can only be attached to evolved Pokes and gets discarded at the end of the turn,
Crystal - Provides 1 Energy the same as whatever other energy types are attached
Warp - whe nattached it switches your Active with a Benched

Pokebodies are the same as Pokemon Powers, the category of Pokemon Power is now split into Poke-Powers and Poke-Bodies.

Cards are being released in their normal versions as well as reverse holographic versions, meaning everythign BUT the picture on the card (minus the back) is holo, like Ancient Mew.

Modified format has banned all sets up to Neo Genesis and Promos 1-20 along with SLowking(NG), Sneasel (NG), Ancient Mew, and BIrthday Pikachu.

Many of the old cards were re-printed in Legendary Collection, which includes cards fro mBse, Jungle, Fossil and Team Rocket, thus making all the re-printed cards earlier versions legal (ie: al Dark Blastoise are legal now, whether or not they are from Legendary)

Supporter cards are new Trainer cards that can only be played once per turn, and they are sometimes very good.

For anything I missed, try The WoTC Neo Rules

Best Decks

My have/want list
