has anyone thought of using light ledian (destiny) with e-card vileplume? use light ledians flash touch and bring up the vileplume. flash touch reads if you have any benched pokemon ,switch light ledian with one of them. as long as that pokemon stays active it cant be affected by a special condition. then bring up the vileplume and use ptaldance and you wont become confused. only problem is that steelix will easily destroy vileplume. even if you poison him they'll just play full heal. besides the steelix, what do you think of my strategy?

Pretty good...Isn't there a gloom that will confuse both Gloom and Defending without a flip?
That would work well also

Yeah, the original Gloom, Expidition Gloom, and the higher level Erika's Gloom have attacks that confuse both pokemon.

This sounds like a pretty good combo.
Yesterday, I made a E-card Vileplume deck with the new Butterfree. Because of the two stage-2 evolutions in the deck, it's not a major tournament-level deck, but it did a pretty good job today in league play.

yea it was the first thing I thought of before the set came out...
but why bother?
you have Double Gust, Switch, Warp Point, Full Heal Energy, Full Heal (=/), Metal Energy...
like...WHY bother? =/

You bother because I doubt good decks will have all of them, and I personally ill stick with Switch for my own Pokes and take a chance with Reversal. I have had Double Gust back fire too many times (though Warp Point may be acceptable). This is especially true in TMP.
