If a Pokemon uses an attack like Discovery Wobuffet's Counter, and that Pokemon is moved to the bench during the opponent's next turn, then attacked, does the coin flip for the attack still occur? Or is the "Counter" effect like other effects in that it ends if the Pokemon is benched? Discovery Wobuffet does not say either way.

I'd have to say it ends, based on this ruling from the Compendium:
Q. If Rocket's Hitmonchan uses Crosscounter on my turn, goes to the bench on my opponent's turn and is brought back out again and attacked, will Crosscounter's effect still trigger?
A. No, it's removed by benching since that effect 'sits' on Rocket's Hitmochan. (Nov 29, 2001 WotC Chat, Q92)
