before i start my question i know i put it in the wrong fourm cuz i couldnt find which fourm to put it in. Ok in the games that the wizard of the coast put on do they play for keeps where the other person gets your prize cards. Last time i went i played at the for fun tables and we just put the prize cards in our discard piles. Now im afraid to go to another game if they play for keeps. Is this true? Thanks

No. No tournament plays for keeps. When one of your opponent's Pokemon is Knocked out, you put one of your own Prizes into your hand. Take them all, and you win!

In fact, in official tournaments, playing for keeps, "anteing" or gambling on the outcome of a game is strictly forbidden.

--------------------
Best Decks
Kurai Tsuki no Kokoro
Dark Ampharos/Dark Espeon
31-7

Kage Ha!
Dark Scizor
8-0

Elm, Oak, Cleffa and Copycat are archetypes.

YGO Deck:
Yukai na Shi ni yotte Ryu
Pleasant Death by way of Dragon
25-8

My have/want list

One Sentence Add-On!

I encountered that kind of guy here in my country. I never excepeted the deal of taking my prize cards for keeps because this is trading card game. We the play the cards we collected for friendly play (especially gaining new friends)and trade cards for collection or for new decks and strategy. [Smile]

This is not a card game for gambling you know!!! [NoNoNo]
