Topic: Energy Costs and Copying attacks

Here's a question, I am sure its been covered, but I am looking for a definate answer, and cant seem to find it in the compendium.
Say you are playing Alakazam Psymimic Pokemon Power: Once during your turn instead of attacking you ma;y choose 1 of your oppenents Pokemon attacks. Alakazam cpies that attack including its energy costs and anything else required in order to use that attack such as discarding energy cards.
If you are playing against Dk Typhlosion and Alakazam uses Rushing flames. The attack is 40X. You may discard any number of Fire Energy cards attached to your pokemon. Flip a coin for each fire energy card discarded in this way. This attack does 40 damage times the number of heads.
Does Alakazam need to have fire energy for this to work?

Well, enough to pay the energy cost of the attack, and, of course, if you plan on doing any damage, you need to discard fire energy from somewhere on your side-but that doesn't neccessarily mean Alakazam.

Yeah, this means you gotta have at least 1 R energy on Alakazam and maybe a few more on your benched guys. Once again, this could be a great combo with the "BUrning Energy" Charizard, the one that turns all energy into R energy till the end of the turn.
