to get more out of a copycat, try these combos.

play ecogym and use super nrg removal{which sends your opponents nrg's to their hand}and then use copycat.

play erika a few times and then use copycat.

use teamrocket's evil deeds and then use copycat.{one card can make all the difference ya know!}

and last but not least, use imposter prof. oak when your opponent has 2 or 3 cards.

do you have any combos with copycat? [Angel]

How's about Erika and Copycat?

Errr... okay, didn't see that there, lol... but you could try something like Chaos Gym and failing on an Oak or Elm, then playing another stadium and Copycat, but that's a bit iffy..

How about the following if your opponent doesn't have a Cleffa down?

Erika-Erika-Erika-Copycat-Imposter Oak's Revenge-Rocket's Sneak Attack-The Rocket's Trap over and over until Heads occurs

How's THAT for a combo?

What, like the pro-archetype attitude is supposed to be restricted to THIS company, and THIS TCG?
All card games run on archetypes. Magic is 90% archetypes. YGO is 90% archetypes. Pokemon was, for the most part, all archetypes before and during MF2. Pokemon will be archetype-based during MF3. Pokemon will be archetype based when it is under Nintendo.

Viva la unoriginality!

How about the Blaine's Quizzes or the Personality Test? (No good, but can be fun).
You might also run a 1-Basic deck, take a bunch of mulligans, then Copy/IOR them. Something like this:

1 Onix SI
1 Steelix

4 Metal
2 FHE
4 DCE

4 CopyCat
4 Erika
4 IOR
3 Chaos Gym
4 Bill
4 Sabrina's Gaze
4 Gust of Wind
4 Computer Search
4 RSA
...

something like that. Don't feel like working it out for the moment. It's the thought that counts. [Wink]

Guess what I just realized...

...

...

I guess it's pointless to try to have you guess when I could just tell you outright. Especially since I can't hear your guesses while I'm still typing this post.

I just realized that Copycat almost makes Light Togetic playable! Almost.

Only prob with the Ecogym idea is EcoGym says "When the effects of an ATTACK cause a player to discard their non-(C) energy, that card goes to their hand instead."

A Trainer like Super NRG Removal wouldn't be affected by this.

--------------------
Best Decks
Kurai Tsuki no Kokoro
Dark Ampharos/Dark Espeon
31-7

Kage Ha!
Dark Scizor
8-0

Elm, Oak, Cleffa and Copycat are archetypes.

YGO Deck:
Yukai na Shi ni yotte Ryu
Pleasant Death by way of Dragon
25-8

My have/want list

Ecogym states: When an attack,POkemon power, or trainer card discards another players non-colorless nrg card from a pokemon, return that nrg card to the owners hand. so yes, my eco gym combo would work.
