I have a quick question -
e.g. Mantine says 'can't use this attack during your next turn'
Can you use this effect on your 'colleague' i.e. your teammate, and then use the attack during your own next go if you are player B and he/she's player A?
Thanks for your answers...

I asked this a long time ago on the Prof. list just after the 1.0 rules came out. I believe the answer was no, but it's so long ago I can't remember, and I'd be a little weary of applying that ruling now.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking here. What does TMP mean anyway?
If an attack says "can't use during your next turn" I believe that if you can evolve, devolve, retreat, scoop up, or remove from play that Pokémon, then you can use that attack on your next turn...

Team MultiPlay
Applying rules v1.4 should allow it as it is an effect, no?

Team Multiplayer. I'd say no on Mantine (since it's your Mantine), as the effect appears to be on Mantine, but others I'm not sure about the others. Also, judging by the Elm rulings I'd say no. [ July 21, 2002, 02:52 PM: Message edited by: yoshi1001 ]

Self-referencing... Mantine can't use this attack. Same way as agility applies to the pokemon who uses it, non-transferable. It's one of those weird exceptions. ![[Frown]](../tcg/frown.gif)
