Can I use Lt.Surge's Rattata Energy Focus attack multiple time and get a greater damage . For example , if I use Focus Energy 3 times (in 3 turns without a turn between them ) if I use it's gnaw in the 4th turn will it do 160 damage ?
(20 X2 X2 X2 = 160 )

what a good combo you can think of but its not gonna happen because
lt surge rattata only says when you use gnaw only in next turn,then the attack is doubled

Here's the card's text :
{C} FOCUS ENERGY During your next turn, Lt. Surge's Rattata's Gnaw attack's base damage is doubled.
{C}{C} GNAW 20
As you can see , the attack doesn't say you need to use Gnaw in order to have it doubled (it is automatically becomes doubled as soon as I enter my next turn ) . Am I right ?

Nice try, but you can't do that. Focus energy isn't cumulative. It says during your next turn, so at that point the previous Focus Energy has worn off, and thus the base damage is still only 40.

Using Focus Energy (=FE) have its effects on my next turn . A turn ends only after I attack . If I used FE once , during my next turn the base damage will be doubled (20X2=40) . In my next turn the effect applies and ganw's base damage is 40 . I use FE (it is still my next turn so the effect doesn't wear off yet ) and the base damage (which is now 40 ) is doubled (40X2=80) .
I know it is way more powerful than a card should be and I know it wasn't what it was meant to be (Or maybe I'm wrong ![[Evil Smirk]](../tcg/graemlins/Up_to.gif) ) But this is what that is written on the card (they should have added a text that will say it's not cumulative ).

Look, I don't know how to put this, but what you say doesn't work. Generally, effects such as this are simply assumed not to be cumulative.
