I have a basic grass energy card and a Crystal energy card attached to a grass pokemon.

Can I use Venusaur's Energy Trans pokemon power to move the crystal energy around?

I would have thought so, esp. as the "other grass Pokemon" already had a grass energy attached to it. Can you do this with Rainbow energy? Maybe we'll need to check with Wizards on the chat. Or Prof e-mail.

From the Compendium:

Q. Can you Energy Trans a Rainbow Energy?
A. Sure. (June 22, 2000 WotC Chat, Q228)

So I would think, doesn't get me much, that you could as long as a grass energy is attached to the pokemon the Crystal energy is attached to. ESP since it does a similar effect as Rainbow.

I would think though that it WOULD need to be transferred 1st otherwise it is no longer a grass energy.

Porygon2 can't Energy Convert Crystal Energy. Energy Converter can only work on Basic Energy cards and Crystal Energy is a Specia Energy card.

I belive the former question was if a grass engery is on a pokemon, and a crystal engery is on that pokemon, can you engery transfer that crystal engery. Yes, its now the "color" of grass and Venusar's only requirement is for it to be the symble for grass, it does'nt state that it must be a basic engery card, now- that also applys to rainbow engery, the diferance here is that as soon as the crystal engery leaves venusar it becomes colorless again, so its "stuck" on whoever you transfered it to, if you wanted to move it again you would have to "trans" the other grass on to that pokemon, so that the crystal would be green again.

Now for the other question, NoPoke asked, if you Engery Convert the grass into fire (making it a "color" of fire) what is crystal engery, this all comes down to that RULLING that I had a rather long thred on awhile ago, (cough floating engery, cough) with this, I would say that the crystal engery is now being treated as both a fire and grass engery, but I'm sure the "offical" rulling is going to be that its now a fire engery, (that would ingore the fact that we are still counting the basic engery card as grass and never anything else so Ho-oh will never do 20 more dammage when you convert a grass into dark, but anyrate..) I hope that answers and makes more questions.

The floating Crystal engery?...

Erica total 24, thats right, 24.
Dunsprace total 41.
I've gotten 98 on that Machoke at work game. I beat Driving Corasola.
I almost beat the record in Hold Down hip hop. I got 2000 or so in Kinglers day. I got 7 in Rapadash's dash. Butterfree's Flower Power 4700. 123 In Jumping Dodoro. My all foil deck is finished.

"I've got floating engery."
"I've got counter productive Powers."
