Your Active Pokémon is Kingdra (Neo Revelations). Your opponent's Active Pokémon is Smeargle (Promo). Smeargle uses Paint and makes Kingdra a Psychic Pokémon. On your next turn, you retreat Kingdra and make a Sabrina's Alakazam (Gym Challenge) with a Water Energy attatched to it active. First, would Kingdra remain Psychic while on the Bench? If so, and Sabrina's Alakazam used its Psylink Pokémon Power (which would be worded Poké-POWER if it was an e-Card) to use Genetic Memory, whose previous Evolutions could you use? I'm thinking Sabrina's Alakazam's evolutions (like Sabrina's Kadabra). I could be wrong, though.

Yes (painting survives benching), and S. Alakazam's pre-evo's attacks.
