OK! Everyone uses these two cards, but no one has ever used them TOGETHER, put them on the same bench and you could dominate every game, it wouldn't matter if you fought a Steelix deck or not, this would work! Check it out:

Meganium
Power: Wild Growth
Whenever you attach a (G) energy to a (G) pokemon, treat it as (G)(G)

Basically, you can double the amount of energy on your pokemon, so a two-turn solar beam is no problem! Now lookey here:

Venusaur
Power: Harvest Bounty
If you attach an energy from your hand to a Pokemon, you may attach another energy to that Pokemon.

What I'm saying is, put these two together and they could power up a grass deck Bench in two turns! if you have guys like Meganium Venusaur, etc, that all need lots of energy for good damage, you attach ONE energy to them, then a second with Harvest Bounty, and the Wild Growth turns those 2 into 4!

Wait! There's more!
Light Sunflora HP 70
(C)(C) Reflected Sunlight
Attach up to 2 (G) energy from your hand to one of your (G) Pokemon

All you need to do is send out Light Sunflora, attach 1 energy to it with Harvest Bounty, Wild Growth doubles it to 2, then use reflected sunlight and attach 2 energy (counts as 4) to a final stage evolution like Venusaur. So you've legally attached 6 energies in ONE turn. Combo it with Energy Stadium:

Energy Stadium
Once during your turn (before your attack) you may flip a coin, if heads, take one basic energy card from your discard pile and put it in your hand.

That way, should any of your warriors be destroyed, you can pull their energy back and keep on blasting away at your opponent.
Think - you can destroy the Onix before it has a chance to evolve into Steelix, cool eh?

Please don't turn this 4-card combo into an archetype. I invented it, me, the Dark Llama

I wouldn't use this combo because it requires 3 evolutions in a deck, do you know how hard it is to get this 3 out?

Scyther is fast, but not as fast as Scizor.

Scyther is strong, but not as strong as Scizor.

Scyther has a few attacks, but Scizor has more attacks.

Scyther is a Grass Pokemon, Scizor is not(HAHAHA!!!)

One of my best deck had 4 evolutions. Though only 2 are stage 2. It's speed has picked up a bit since expedition but it's not meant to be to fast, more annoying cause it makes most opponents really think and its enjoyable when they crack under the pressure (no, not all are little kids, some are my age).

The Mega/Venu combo isn't bad. In fact, my son plays it very effectively in Team Multi Play. However, the Sunflora addition isn't necessary, IMO.

I think if you had ONLY these cards in the deck you could pull it off. Try THIS example:
Pokemon
4x Expedition Bulbasaur (Sleep Sleed)
4x Ivysar (Base)
4x Venusaur (Harvest Bounty)

4x Chikorita (Doesnt matter which one)
4x Bayleef (Who cares which one, the deck need the Evo, right?)
4x Meganium (Wild Growth)

3x Sunkern (Destiny)
2x Light Sunflora (Destiny)

Trainers:
4x Pokemon Breeder Fields(up to 2 evo. per turn)
2x Pokemon Trader
2x Pokemon Breeder
3x Energy Stadium

20 Grass Energy (Can't run out now, can we?)

Best Decks
Kurai Tsuki no Kokoro
Dark Ampharos/Dark Espeon
31-7

Kage Ha!
Dark Scizor
8-0

Elm, Oak, Cleffa and Copycat are archetypes.

YGO Deck:

Pleasant Death by way of Dragon

Well, in my recent experience with the Mega/Venu combo, 12-14 energy seemed just fine when you include 2 Energy Stadiums and 1 Time Capsule. You really don't need a lot of energy in the deck.

That said, your idea to include 20 energy (along with Energy Stadium) will result in an inefficent hand. That is, if you have more than 2-3 energy cards in your hand with the Mega/Venu combo, you've got "way plenty" energy.

Let me make a few suggestions (and turn this into a Deck Help topic). Let's assume this will be Modified.

1. Drop a Meganium and Bayleaf. More than one Mega in play is only necessary if you're attacking with it. The Venusaur (and a basic I'll suggest below) are slightly better attackers.

2. Drop a Venusaur and Ivysaur to make room for more trainers.

3. Drop your energy count to 12 grass.

4. Drop one Energy Stadium and add 1 Time Capsule. That way, you can get some Pokemon back into your deck if necessary.

5. Revamp the trainers to get more drawing power and deck searching. See my suggested revision below.

So, IMO, the deck below shows a little more potential (although weak to fire and Pokemon Power denial).

25 Pokemon
----------

4 Bulbasaur (50 HP Expedition)
3 Ivysaur (Expedition)
3 Venusaur (Harvest Bounty)

4 Chickorita (50 HP Expedition)
3 Bayleaf (Expedition - to resist water Kingdra decks)
3 Meganium (Wild Growth)

2 Cleffa (3-4 Cleffas clogs the bench)
3 Scyther (Neo Discovery)

Energy
------

12 Grass

23 Trainers
-----------

4 Professor Elm
3 Double Gust
3 Pokemon Trader
2 Prof Elm's Trainer Method (Supporter)
2 Pokemon Breeder
2 Gold Berry (or Focus Band if you expect Fire)
2 Copycat (Supporter)
2 Prof Oak's Research (Supporter)
1 Time Capsule
2 Pokemon Nurse (Supporter)

Possible Alterations:

1. After playing this deck, if you feel like 12 Energy cards is plenty, try swapping out 1 or 2 for Energy Retrieval. You'll be amazed at how handy Retrieval is when you only have 1 grass in your hand and you need 2 (to utilize Harvest Bounty).

2. If you don't like Supporters, trade the Nurse for Gold Berry, Copycat and Oak's Research for Bill, and Elm's Training Method for Trader and/or Pokemon March. However, I highly recommend Elm's Training Method in a multi-evolutions deck.

Have fun!

Ahem...um, Dark lamma? U didn't invent this strategy. I had this before u mensioned it [Razz] . Heres my deck:

My Deck
Pokemon(24):
4 Bulbasaur (Base)
2 Ivysaur (Base)
1 Venusaur (Base)
1 Venusaur (Expedition pp:Harvest bounty)
4 Chikorita (Expedition)
2 Bayleef (Expedition)
1 Meganium (Neo Genesis lv. 57)
1 Meganium (Expedition pp:soothing aroma)
3 Cleffa
2 Exeggcute (Jungle)
2 Exeggutor (Jungle)
Trainers(23):
2 Switch
3 Bill
3 Prof. Elm
4 Prof. Elm Training method (Expedition)
4 Pokemon Trader
4 Pokemon Breeder
4 Pokemon Center

Energy(13):
12 Grass Energy
1 Full Heal Energy

Now I'm not saying i invented this strategy either [NoNoNo] , but don't go bragging on about a strategy that "you" invented [Roll Eyes] , when u really don't know who thought of it first. That said, i'd probablly change this topic name. [Cool]
