I'm wondering why TPC hasn't come up with a game mechanic that limits and/or prevents players from healing (removing damage counters). Sure, trainer denial could work, but I'm thinking of something like a low-damage attack whose effect prevents the Defending Pokemon from healing while it's active. Personally, I think this would do a lot to help counter decks that rely on big-HP Pokemon that continually heal and attack without ever going to the bench.

Thoughts?

Yeah, this came to my mind a while back. I created a card called "Mr. Grass' Muk". I worded the pokemon power as such:
Pokemon Power: Noxious Fumes- If the effect of an attack, pokemon power, trainer, or energy card would remove damage counters from a pokemon, or move damage counters from one pokemon to another, cancel that effect. Any other effect still happens. This power stops working...etc.

I think it should be Mr. Grass' Stadium--it would work real well as a Stadium card.
