Ditto, confusing so many rules. To my questions, attach a crystal energy to Ditto when it has no energy cards on it, can Ditto change crystal energy's type (for the rest of the turn)? If there is a basic energy of Ditto (say grass), can Ditto change the crystal energy type to another (for the rest of the turn)? If there is a basic energy on Ditto (grass) and is currently changed to another type (to any other), does crystal energy take the grass energy type or the type the grass is currently treated as?

Wow, yet another Ditto question. I'm sure glad Ditto isn't playable in Modified. Furthermore, I highly doubt well be seeing much use of Crystal Energy (or Pokemon) in Unlimited.
I don't know the answer, but I'd say Transform takes priority over Crystal's card text and can convert it to any energy type.

cool, I would say that the specal ablitys of the card, such as darkness engery, never go away, you can treat the "color" of the engery as any type, so you could treat the colorless engery as fire or whatever, then if you attached a normal basic engery on it- the crystal engery could provide the fire that ditto can convert to anything else, see the colorless engery that the crystal provides is always colorless but regardless ditto can change it.
